Honestly the three cheese milanesa is DELICIOUS. perfectly fried, soft and flavorful, one of the best i've ever had. the beef empanada was so crunchy on the outside and the meat was perfectly cooked. the caprese has the perfect amount of cheese... Honestly I will be coming back asap!! We can't add a picture because we ate it all!!

Finally an argentinian place with a great menu and the flavors that we love so much of argentinian food. Inside Avalon Market Place You can enjoy and choose from a resto sandwich, to meat medallions and everything was excellent!! And dont forget dessert!!

There's a new addition to the Avalon Marketplace. I'm not talking Bobby Brown New Edition, but a great new fast casual latin inspired restaurant to fill the void of rotating vendors in the corner closest to Bowigens. Just "Cool it Now" as you're gonna lose control! The Choripan was on my radar and I've been wanting to try something like that for a while. It's basically Chorizo (sausage style) on bread (Pan) and I thought it would be plain, which is fine, but it had chimichurri and some other toppings too. The sauce was a tad spicy but absolutely amazing. The Milenesa selection is pretty good with different versions. It's basically a pounded out piece of chicken that's breaded and fried and covered in various toppings. The Proveleta version had Provolone cheese and chimichurri and came with one side (you get to pick). I need to start pounding my chicken at home! Gamechanger!I plan on going back as there were many other things on their menu that looked good too, and others at The Marketplace ordered other things that looked good as I was being nebby and sneaking a peak.

New favorite in Avalon, hands down! All of our food smelled so good I didn't even pause to take pictures. I HIGHLY recommend Resto, it took me right back to Argentina! The empanadas were an incredible way to open the meal, followed by the tenderloin medallion with mushroom sauce (oh my goodness, so good) and the special which included skirt steak, tenderloin, and a chorizo sausage. Both came out sizzling hot and smelling divine with yucca fries on the side. The owner came over to talk to us and was so kind and passionate about his food and the restaurant. He surprised us with a complimentary slice of the chocolate Dulce de leche cake and it's absolutely going to be a staple order every time we go back. Which will be often!

I wanted to try something new at the marketplace, so I ended up at Resto. I got the chicken Napoleon, which is basically just chicken Parmesan. huge piece of breaded chicken cutlet that was really good quality and perfect thickness topped off with some red sauce and mozzarella. I would've loved a lot more red sauce, but this isn't an Italian place. Instead of fries, I got a side salad, which was OK and tasted pretty good on top of the chicken. Overall, I would definitely recommend this place as they have many many varieties of chicken cutlet topped with different items. I'll be back.

This was my first visit to Resti. Lara greeted me at the counter. She was courteous and extremely informative. On her recommendation I ordered the tenderloin medallion. It comes out on a sizzling platter. It was delicious. Only problem is it was just a bit too done but pink/reddish enough to just be ok. On her recommendation I got it with chimichurri sauce which was excellent. Next time I'll try it with creamy mushroom sauce. The entree comes with a side. I upgraded to truffles French fries. Amazingly good. They brought out a large bowl of them. On her recommendation I ordered the cheese cake. Rich and creamy. Similar to a very good New York style cheese cake. Argentine style empanadas for my wife had a great filling but a bit too greasy Though my wife said it had the best filling and flavor she ever had in an empanada but it should have been baked. Not fried. The sauce it came with was very good. Argentine style empanadas has olive and egg and seasoning in it. You can get Mediterranean style with lemon in it instead. The menu has many other interesting appetizers and entrees including sandwiches. Soda is from a fountain. Tastes much better than in a can or bottle. I can't wait to return to try other items.
