Delicious 100% vegan food. I love their burgers and think they are the best in Orlando. The sorullos and the plantain cups are amazing. The sauces are also all very good and I recommend ordering at least 1 extra one. I like all of the empanadas except the pizza but that is because I am not huge on vegan cheese. I am not a huge fan of the fries personally (they are seasoned steak fries and I am a shoestring person) but they have PLENTY of other offerings on the menu which are delicious so you don't have to worry about having a side if you are also a shoestring fry person. It's a small food truck, so don't expect your food to be ready instantly. I recommend ordering ahead. They have seating outside. I usually pick up my food to go but even by the time I get home their food is STILL hot, fresh, and delicious. I wish they had a location on the west side of town or perhaps somewhere else in the greater Orlando area! Hoping they continue to prosper so that they can continue expanding.

I've been to this location as well as the one in UCF. Food is always fantastic. I've tried different bowls/combinations as well their burgers (hallows and rincon) and every time it amazes me how incredibly flavorful each of the food have provided. Also their sides are an adventure of their own along with their sauces. The service here is great as well, everyone is very knowledgeable on their menu and give great recommendations. Ambiance is good enough to where you can sit and enjoy your meal outside. Overall, one of the best there is: 5/5

I love it here! The açaí is truly the best in Orlando. I love the variety of the bowls and also the a la cart style. So many options! All bowls are inspired by Puerto Rican beaches which is such a cool touch to the culture and story of the business. As a costumer, you don't always have to commit to a bowl- but can also order scoops. They've recently added passion fruit and coconut to the menu, both are phenomenal. Purple ocean has grown into a (3) truck concept that also includes a food truck - offering vegan options for Puerto Rican specialities such as alcapurrias. The third truck is in its soft opening phase and is a Puerto Rican coffee concept called Cultivo Coffee. (If you like coffee - give it a go! It's great) Every time I am here we are greeted with smiles and laughs. The staff is always helpful and sweet. Keep in mind, the seating that is offered is only outdoors but they've done a good job and providing shaded areas because it does get really hot in Florida. I would highly recommend a visit to Purple Ocean!

The acai at Purple Ocean is always 100/100 and the quality from top to bottom burst through with every bite. My go-to is the jobos bowl with acai and passion fruit base, granola, coconut oil, strawberries, nutella, and honey! The service is always quick and easy and the environment is nice when needing a cool down from Florida's heat. I have tried other places in town and I will drive near or far every time to come here.

Great Acai Bowls, But Customer Service Needs ImprovementAfter my favorite acai store closed down, I was on the hunt for a new place and was thankful to have found Purple Ocean Superfood Bar. The taste and quality of their acai bowls are fantastic, and I've enjoyed them each time I've visited. However, I'm not a fan of the coconut oil they use. While I understand it's meant to hold the shape of the acai scoop, it just doesn't work for me flavor-wise. I always prefer to exclude it from my bowl.I've visited Purple Ocean about four times now. During my most recent visit, on a sweltering July day in Florida with temperatures hitting 90 degrees, I had an experience that left a sour taste. As an 8-month pregnant woman, standing in the blazing sun is not exactly a walk in the park. After placing my order, the associate asked if I would write a Google review on the spot to receive a 10% discount. She even paused my transaction until I showed her the review. While I understand the need for reviews, asking a heavily pregnant woman to stand outside in the heat to write one for a small discount felt unreasonable and uncomfortable. It felt like my order was being held hostage, delaying the preparation of my acai bowl. I declined, and thankfully, the associate was kind and didn't push further.I suggest the management reconsider how they ask for reviews. It's important to read the room and not pressure customers, especially under such circumstances. Despite this minor hiccup, I still love the acai bowls here and hope for better customer service in the future.

The açaí at Purple Ocean is truly outstanding. I've had the Tres Palmas twice now, and every bite feels like a taste of heaven. The freshness and flavor of the açaí bowls are consistently amazing--definitely a highlight of the menu. However, the yuca fries were disappointing. They were quite dry, even with the accompanying sauce, which was surprising given how excellent the açaí is.Customer service was a bit of a mixed bag. At the açaí truck, the service was great once someone finally came to the window, but it took a while to get their attention. On the other hand, the service at the adjacent food truck left much to be desired, as the attendant seemed bothered throughout the interaction.Overall, I'd come back for the açaí in a heartbeat, but I'd probably skip the fries and hope for quicker service next time.

The absolute BEST acai bowl place anywhere!I've followed this little truck all over Orlando and I'm happy they've found a home in Primrose so I always know where to find them now. Great location that manages to create a little tropical oasis right in the middle of Orlando. And the acai bowls? Like I said, the BEST! I also love that you can mix and match different flavors including acai, pitaya, coconut, and passionfuit - you HAVE to add at least one scoop of the passionfruit trust me!

These are hands down the best açaí bowls possibly on the east coast. My fiancé and I RAVED about them to each other literally while we were eating them saying this may be the best food like ever. The service is always awesome and every single time we go back the owner has added some other type of food or drink or decor or ambiance and you can tell this place is run by someone who truly cares. Please, If you haven't at least tried purple ocean you absolutely must!!
