I had a disappointing experience at this restaurant. The chicken I ordered was overcooked and hard, and when I asked for another portion of rice and beans to go with it, I was charged again after they removed the first serving. The manager who brought out the replacement didn't offer an apology or any acknowledgment of the issue. Overall, the lack of customer service and quality was very disappointing.

We wanted to try Caribbean Latin food as we were driving by. Saw they had decent reviews so decided to try it.My husband had the masitas de puerco. They were ok. A but in the dry side with a side of French fries - those were nice and crispy The rice and beans were also just ok.I had the pollo con limón Let me tell you that chicken was good we both liked it. The service was ok.The restaurant did felt comfortable, nicely decorated and clean.

I have always loved Spanish food. This is a Dominican owned restaurant and it offers outside seating with an outdoor bar for faster service. I had the Seafood Casuela of Mariscos with a side of Mofongo it was delicious and tasted great. The portions were large enough to share.

I went here for Mother's Day and it was the worst experience ever. For starters we ordered empanadas and they brought us more than we ordered as we asked the server which empanadas were chicken or beef, she proceeded to TOUCH OUR EMPANADAS WITH HER NAILS, then STARTED COUGHING AND THEN TOUCHED THE EMPANADAS AGAIN. At that point I told her we no longer wanted them. She then disappeared and we had another server. Our meal came out and it was completely wrong, at this point we decided to just eat after waiting over an hour to only be eating dry over cooked mofongo. Even the drink I ordered came out wrong!!! I was truly disappointed for the money I paid and the service we received.

Food was excellent and so many entrees to choose from. Portions were larger than I expected. Service was very good and refills of drinks were prompt. We came for an early dinner and we're able to get a good look at the restaurant which was very clean, and well decorated.

I've been to Puna Cana Restaurant three times. I've left extremely happy and FULL every time. I've recently just moved from South Fl to Central Fl and this restaurant reminds me of the good Hispanic food I've left behind in Miami. The customer service is on point and I appreciate suggestions and recommendations. They have a full bar. I also enjoy their music selection.

This spot is cool. The drinks are decently priced, they have tvs, music and the people in there are live. They were doing karaoke when I was there. It was a riot. There is plenty of parking and a security officer outside at all times. The bar looks pretty cool, I love the aesthetic.

My parents are from the Dominican Republic and both cook like professional Dominican chefs. When I visited home and they recommended for us to dine at a local Dominican spot, I was weirded out. Why on earth would we leave the house to eat something I've had at home my entire life? But as soon as we arrive, I got it.Puna Cana is conveniently located right off of 192, no more than 10 minutes from my parents house. Their menu is a mix of Dominican and Puerto Rican dishes and features so many of my favorites. They have a full bar and their drinks were decently price, and pretty strong. The service was impeccable. It was clear that my parents were regulars, as they said hello to several people who worked here. I learned that they frequent the restaurant for Karaoke Nights on Saturdays- who knew they were so cool?!I ordered the "camarofongo" aka camorones with mofongo aka shrimp with the most excellent smashed platano goodness. It was all covered and sitting in an amazing garlic sauce. I don't know how, but I ate the whole thing. It was delicious! My moms dish, the fish fillet, was also extremely tasty, covered in the same garlic sauce. All in all, this local spot was tasty, had great service and will leave you full for days. I'll be back next time I'm in town and my parents are too lazy to cook ;)

I am not sure what they call it but it was chicken stuffed with shrimp covered in a white sauce. Absolutely amazing. I am tempted to order one to go. Nice atmosphere, very friendly staff. I will definitely eat here again.
