A friend got me to swing by here one day for lunch with him. We got there early and got right in. The meal came with the first round of chips and salsa for free. The salsa was great and just a little kick to it. For my meal I got a chorizo quesidilla and some rice and beans. The rice and beans were just alright, I may or may not get them again depending on how hungry I was. But the chorizo quesidilla was absolutely delicious. Something that I find hard to find. It came with some lettuce and Pico on top and I got a side of sour cream to add on too.Staff was very friendly and fast. I would definitely recommend this place and have already wanted to head back for more of their chorizo!

When we walked in, you can tell from the layout of the room that this place is more for the bar than the food. They have a spot for live band but it's not a great spot to watch and listen. The service waiting for a table is only good if they have someone watching out but they don't. The server we had was nice and somewhat attentive. I would say that this place is more of a bar that has food and not a restaurant that has a bar. The opinion is on the ground beef and shredded chicken. The only thing that made it taste decent is if you have queso on it. The ground beef had zero taste to it. I didn't even want to finish my meal because of it. The shredded chicken was pretty decent but for the price, probably not. The tortillas chips and salsa didn't really have a taste either. Crazy! The rice and beans was something you would want to skip because that lacked seasoning. I gave it a 2 for the nice server and shredded chicken. Another review said something about writing all over. It's the environment and art. It didn't look trashy but it's more of a bar with some food.

Nope!! Ok firstly, the ambiance was cool.. but the cost did not match the decor. The place had nothing under $12 and there was writing all over the walls.. ok. Next, the burrito was tasteless and the rice was extremely stale. When I made the gentleman behind the bar aware of the situation he responded "it was fine this morning" I asked if it was made to order and he confirmed that I was eating old rice....... I returned everything, drank my water and left. If you know what good food taste like this is NOT the place for you.

I think this place deserves some love! Pretty average food but really good prices. I stopped in unexpectedly for lunch today. My nearby preference was absolutely packed so my friend and I ducked in here. Seems like a great spot to grab drinks. Several people were chilling at the bar and I noticed that they have a daily happy hour special from 11-7. Unfortunately we weren't drinking today. But I can imagine the margaritas are nice based on observations. The atmosphere can best be described as a dive bar. The servers are super friendly and attentive. Before we even sat down, a big basket of chips and salsa was placed on the table. I liked the salsa a lot! Little bit of heat to it. Quickly after getting us setup w chips and beverages, our server took our order and had it served up within about ten minutes. I enjoyed the cheddar bean burrito and my friend the blackened fish tacos. Both came served with some rice. The rice was sub par but I enjoyed my burrito! I'd come again! It's a fun environment to enjoy with friends. The prices were truly unbeatable and the menu was huge. It would be hard even for your pickiest friend to not find something suitable. Can't wait to try a margarita next time.

Another local favorite!! PR's is that local taco palace almost five bar feel. With graffiti all over the walls this place is divey and trendy. The bartenders pour stiff margaritas and on the right day the owner will come by and have a shot of tequila with you. Margaritas on tap is never a bad thing! The fundito is hands down my favorite thing on the menu, but the fajitas are a very close second. "The beer soaked sautéed onions are stellar!! If you haven't you should!!

As you walk in you can't help but feel dirty. There's signatures & writing all over the tables, chairs & walls. we received our menus & they looked as if they haven't been cleaned, ever. We sat bar top & I was being attacked by bees the whole time. At one point it landed in my drink. We received our food within 10 minutes & the rice & beans looked overcooked and were tasteless. My favorite item on the plate was definitely the double stuffed taco. The food was very much americanized but it was expected. The servers were very sweet though & that is why I gave them two stars. You could tell they had many regulars there!

I recently stopped here for lunch with a friend. They weren't very busy at the time so we had out choice of seating. It was a nice day so we sat outside. I ordered the fajita salad with tea. The drunks came out right away but it seemed like a bit of a wait on the food. My friend and I speculated that they were probably making it cook-to-order. Her arrived piping hot.The salad was a good portion size and the steak was cooked well. Other than me needing more salt, it was good. Our server had a sense of humor and came out several times to check on us.Overall an okay experience. I would probably go back if friends wanted to meet up here.

It had been a looooong time since I came to PR's and used to frequent often in their old location. Happy to learn that Fajita Friday is still alive and well (yet no more expensive, thanks economy) but still a good value for the amount of food you get. I got the combo blackened (steak and chicken). As for extra grilled onions as well. They are so good. We visited with a large party (family in town for the holidays) and even though they were short staffed, our server was awesome and helped make sure the little ones in our party good food quick. She was also communicative and acknowledged the longer wait. I always appreciate communication and not complete avoidance, as can often happen when someone is busy. I look forward to coming back and getting some of my old favorites (queso fundido, I see you) soon.

I miss PR's Mexican by the railroad tracks on Fairbanks! No clue if the owners are the same here or what but it just ain't remotely the same quality or atmosphere at all. I was so excited that I found them again after being away from Florida for a few years, but it was short lived. I picked up my order, but it was late so I was waiting for it, assuming it would be fresh and hot. I ordered what I used to get years ago at the RR location and was so happy they still had the homemade stuffed jalapenos! However, they are nowhere near the same either. Same huge size but they no longer keep the seeds in for heat/flavor and the batter was just heavy grease and lack of pepper flavor, just burnt oil, very disappointing. Even without seeds it would have been ok if the very heavy, greasy batter wasn't so bad. I wasted all but 2 bites of mine and tossed the rest.
