Portillo's Waterford Lakes

Four stars for awesome service! I drove up to the drive-through about 1120a and wasn't sure if they were open yet,but they were! It was raining outside, but the employees were outside and ready under the driveway. I ordered a double hotdog combo and a fish sandwich. He was very honest about what his favorites were and he said the first sandwich was his favorite! My mom absolutely enjoyed it and said that she would totally go back. The hotdogs to me were nothing to write home about, and I thought that the other competitor of hotdogs in Orlando were still my favorite. Anyhow, the fries were nice and fresh because we asked for it without salt. I thought it was very odd that the top kept popping off of my soda, it could have been a huge disaster in my car but thankfully I just Transferred when I got home. I also got the chocolate cake which I thought wasn't worth the hype. I am glad I tried it though! The frosting is delicious and the cake was light and fluffy. It wasn't super rich, but it wasn't the best chocolate cake I've had at a fast food joint either. Anyhow, I will definitely return here for some other things, the service was really nice! Olive in the drive-through was a sweetheart! From what I could see inside as well, it was very clean!

This was only my second time going to a Portillo's. I have to say this was a better experience than the other location. They were busy but not packed. I ordered the Italian Beef and it was great. Hot on a fresh roll with fries and a drink. I enjoyed that each order the worked used a rhyming phrase when they called the number for someone to pick up.Value was great as it was around 10 for a meal that filled me up. My trips to the other location I got a hot dog and did not see anything much different than other hot dogs. The Italian Beef is an exception. Certainly not something you can get just anywhere, and it tasted great at a great price.This is close to home so I can see more trips in my future.

Portillo's has opened a location in Waterford Lakes and brings a taste of Chicago to the east side of Orlando For fast-food, Portillo's is a pretty solid choice. The menu is set around Italian beef sandwiches, Chicago style hot dogs, hamburgers, fish sandwiches, chicken sandwiches and more. I couldn't decide between the Italian beef and the Chicago style hot dog so I did what any responsible adult would do and got both (lol). I also had onion rings.The service here was extremely friendly. The girl at the counter was great and even when I was walking. Out, the girl standing at the drive-through greeted me and wished me a great day.Portillo's is huge inside and is bright and inviting. There is a great logo on a wall t h at perfectly fits Florida (yes, it has an alligator in it).Getting home, I found the food to be pretty good, especially for fast-food, and pricing was decent enough. The larger Italian beef was just under ten dollars ($9.99 I believe). Adding the peppers and mozzarella was seventy-five cents each.I would definitely recommend this particular location of Portillo's. It seemed that Portillo's is growing and spreading across Florida and that is ultimately good news for the Sunshine State. If you are in the Waterford Lakes area, I would definitely that you check this Portillo's location out. I will give it five stars when taking into consideration that it is fast-food.

I'm so happy that there is finally a Portillo's near me! I have visited the Waterford Lakes location a few times now and find they are consistent in quality and always a short wait. My favorite menu item is the Italian beef dipped in gravy with hot and sweet peppers. It can definitely be messy but it is so worth it. The grilled Polish sausage and Chicago hot dog are my other go-to items. I recently tried the cheeseburger and was impressed with it. The restaurant is spacious, lots of decor on the walls which is traditional for a Portillo's restaurant, very clean and lots of comfortable seating. They also have a large patio with lots of seating outside. Pro Tip: Sign up on their website to get a free cake slice for your birthday! They say its for the chocolate cake but I was able to use the coupon for a free lemon cake.

Cute spot ! Reminds me of an old school diner. I was over in that area to make a return to Nike. So we decided to eat here. Portillo is a hot dog spot that grew into so much more. I ordered the Spicy Chicken sandwich, small fries, onion rings and Bacon hamburger spend $22. The spicy chicken burger was pretty good. My son enjoyed his bacon cheeseburger burger. Service, food and quality of food is a solid 4.4/5Will in return ? I'll say yes

Tried Portillo's for the first time tonight and I'm not sure how I feel about it yet. I ordered a simple hotdog with relish and their chocolate cake. The chocolate cake was solid, very standard, soft, sweet, not dry but nothing out of the box though. Why is the relish food colored green! I laughed out loud when I saw my hotdog, it looked unappetizing. I took off all the relish and put on some relish I had at home instead. The hotdog itself tasted good, I really wanted to try and judge a plain hotdog before trying their more loaded options. The bun was soft and sweet. Not sure if I would come back right away to try their other options but meal itself wasn't bad.

We went about a week after their grand opening. It was loud and packed, but we expected it. The kiosks were not working, not sure if they are turned off for ordering at peak times, or if they are t working. There was a sign to head to the counter to order. At the line there is also a wall of bakery items (chocolate cake slice was delicious. Very fudgy) and some merch. The line probably had 15-20 people ahead of us, two stations to order from, and moved quickly. We had 8 people in our group. All questions were answered, and staff was very friendly. We got our drinks from the fountain and we're able to find a table big enough for all of us, which was a pleasant surprise, we expected to need to split up. You stand at a counter and they call out order numbers with fun rhymes. It's not easy to hear/understand, but there is a board with numbers moving as well. We probably waited 20-25 minutes for food. We felt it was appropriate for the amount of people in the restaurant. There was never a time an order wasn't being called. When we got to the table, we were missing a kids meal. I went up to the counter and it was immediately corrected. Everything was hot and delicious, and they have vegetarian options. We will be back.

They'll cater your Sausage Party! How do you beat that? This location was open just over a week and I think they're doing a great job. I don't know if it's pronounce Portillo's or Portillo's, but either way, I'm gonna go back. Welcome to East Orlando.I'll say I'm super excited about being able to get their Garden Dog! The Garden Dog is a non-meat hot dog and they dress it just like their Chicago Dog with Tomatoes, a pickle, those mini peppers, mustard, onions and that bright green relish that looks like Soylent Green! Delicious People! (should there be a comma there or not?)I had the Italian beef at another location and it was delicious. I'm not a Chicago-nite, but I hear it's one of the better ones. They also have burgers, fries, sausage (good), salads (why?) and supposedly some good chocolate cake (Daddy's Great... Give's us chocolate cake...). When in line to order, there's a reach-in refrigerator case that has some items to take home and DIY.The only other good place to get decent dogs in Orlando was Hot Dog Heaven but they want like 8 bucks for a hot dog. 4 bucks here is a much better deal. Learning math pays off! Once the hype dies down, this will be a regular stop!

This was recommended to me by another co-worker who loves to eat here when they visit orlando so when I saw one was right down the street from our hotel I wanted to try it. Initially it reminds me of Johnny Rockets. The food wasn't my absolute favorite but it was good, the pricing was great. They have a very efficient line going which means our service was very quick, they have a ton of good options. Hot dogs, burgers, chicken tenders, sandwich and more. Being from new york it kind of gave a diner vibe in certain way but it was packed inside but they had employees cleaning tables nonstop the ambiance in here was loud a bit as well but do not let this steer you away. Give Portillo's a try!

Everyone is so nice. And we have been there 2 times and it was great food both times. So happy they put one in Waterford Lakes near my home. YEA
