The beef and sausage sandwich was amazing. My wife had the beef sandwich and it was amazing as well. Fries were cold when they got the meal together. Order the cheese dip. Goes great with the fries. Service a little slow but it was our first time and we got there when they first opened. I like the ambiance. It was welcoming and pretty interesting.

I go to Portillo's every time I am in Chicago, and even though I prefer my hot dog very simple- with mustard- I LOVE a good Chicago Dog with all the trimmings. Just something about the merging of all those flavors and textures.So, when I heard that a Portillo's was opening in the Orlando area, I was a bit dubious- for 2 reasons- I like "local" food, and I feel that whenever a restaurant opens a branch out of state, it won't translate very well. So I put off coming here for a while, until I found myself in Kissimmee and I saw the sign out of the corner of my eye.I pulled over and parked. I walked in and was immediately transported into downtown Chicago, at the corner of Ontario and Clark Streets, I walked up to the counter and ordered my usual- a Chicago Dog.I paid and walked down to the pickup area, in awe at the similarities. I received my hot dog and sat down at a table and opened this incredible treat and took a bite- it was as if I WAS in Chicago! I am still a purist and would rather be eating a Chicago Dog in the WIndy City, but whenever I have a craving, I will happily come here. I can't wait to come back and try the Italian Beef Sandwich!

A pretty good restaurant that is relatively new located very accessibly off of main roads! The parking lot is the only thing that I have to say is a downside of this place because it is very chaotic and a little confusing. Walking in I felt like I was transported to Chicago with the insane amount of Chicago style design and theming. It was very easy to find a seat because there was so many seating choices to choose from. I decided to get a roast beef sandwich loaded with peppers and while I was ordering the server taking my food was very friendly and fast with ringing up the order. I loved that the meat was very tender and did not taste dry whatsoever. I loved the hoagie roll it was on however I do wish that it was a little more crispy because that's how I like my roast beef sandwiches. I liked being able to see in the entire kitchen while I walked down to get my food and it looked like it was one of the cleanest kitchens that I have seen in a very long time from a fast food restaurant! Prices are reasonable with the sandwich of my choice as well as a soda and side of fries being $13. It definitely kept me full for a very long time that day! They also have a drive-thru! I definitely recommend getting the chocolate cake for dessert because it is Heavenly and the flavoring is so wonderful. The chocolate is not too rich which is something that usually turns me off of Kate at restaurants!

We're originally from Chicago but live in Charleston now. Orlando is usually the closest we get to grabbing a Chicago style hot dog. Portillo's doesn't disappoint. And the service was really good too!

Portillo's is a go to for my Chicago raised family and we stop anytime we find a location. We tell everyone we know to go too. Now living in Oklahoma I can say, this is in our top 5 list of places we would love to have closer to home. After having a friend try it in Orlando, she is willing to make the drive from the Tulsa area to the closest one to us in Dallas. We will be back!

We came here the Saturday before Christmas and had a great lunch. I was expecting to visit the restaurant to be busy and having to wait in a long line and wait to get a table as I have other locations, but this restaurant was completely ready and handled their guests amazingly. The staff was great at helping us navigate the menu and there were staff all around the restaurant helping to bring drinks or carry menu items over or help cleanup or see if we needed anything during our meal. It was so appreciated everything on the Portillo's menu is great. You cannot go wrong, but I definitely recommend a classic Chicago dog all in.

FAMILY FOOD ADVENTURE!!!Or to say...Dad and 2 oldest Lunch Adventure!!!I have been wanting to try Portillo for a while. From the reviews I thought we were in for something special.My eldest LOVES HOT DOGS!!!So I especially wanted to bring them here.Between the 3 of us we ordered...2 hot dog special with friesTheir specialty labeled Italian Sausage and Beef sandwich The regular Beef SandwichAn order of onion Rings And 3 drinks, have to go back to counter for refills, FYITo start the Onion Rings were probably the best thing we ordered. Nice a light with a great crunch, enjoyed by all!!!To be honest: The Hot dogs tasted like cheap made chicken/pork dogs or something and were honestly nothing special. We like all high quality or all beef hotdogs. These were neither.The topping were ok, but lacked a binding ingredient that tied it together. It was like a hotdog, pickle spear, peppers, onions, relish and I don't remember what else on a decently elevated bun. Just really not the level of quality we were hoping for.The Italian sausage in the sandwich was good and the beef was good, but nothing really different in taste that made either stand out from any other establishment that offers these products, other than putting them together.You can also have the Italian beef dipped into the meat water. I don't recommend doing the whole sandwich . The bread just started falling apart. Not sure if it's the bread or the time, but I have had plenty of dipped sandwiches and only had it fall apart a few times, but it honestly did not add to the flavor like we were hoping."The regular beef sandwich was tasty, but had a ton of jalapeños. Now my Son lives for spicy food, but with the amount on his sandwich it just overpowered the taste of the sandwich and he had to pick it apart to remove some of the jalapeños. There had to be 15+ on such a small sandwich. Not a great ratio.The fries were basic crinkle cut and really were basic in every way.It cost us almost 50$ for 3 almost meals, as it is mostly A LA Carte ordering.The exterior looks like a big brick building with an outside seating area.The inside is playing off the same road themed environment you can find allot of places nowadays, but is cool to see once maybe twice as they had a couple of cool artfully made sculptures and a fan boat hanging at the entrance.Bathrooms were clean and stocked.So all in all the food was good, but for the price point I thought it would have been more tantalizing to our taste buds. Left us a bit disappointed.Overall, I would give this place a second try, just to see if the food experience is the same for comparison, but...AS ALWAYS, TRY IT FOR YOURSELF!!!
