We got the chance to go to Portillo's a week or so after they opened and it was... good. The ambiance and the indoor atmosphere was awesome, it really gave a kind of 'world's fair' vibe to it. Employees were super friendly and able to help us find the right food for us. We got the Jumbo Chili Cheese Dog and the Single Rodeo Burger! We also got the Vanilla Shake with the cake in it also. It was very good but also extremely HEAVY. I probably would not get it again. All in All it's a decent spot to go to but I probably would not go again!

Fresh ingredients and quick service! I was so impressed by this Spicy Chicken chopped salad and it was sooooo good! Loved the dressing and that it came with a piece of bread on the side! Great value.

Always love Portillos Italian beef so looking forward to trying their new salads. I got the chicken pecan bacon salad with honey peppercorn dressing. It's pretty delicious. I wish the dressing was not as thick. Had big clumps fall out and stuck in container. Nice portion size. Ambiance and service is always great. Nice and clean inside the restaurant playing 50's music and fun rhymes when they call your number. There are four salads to choose from for a lighter option. Their fries always are a hit to me. They have a lot dessert options as well including a yummy salted caramel spice cake that can even be made into a shake. Tasted just like fall! So good!

I'm a big fan of portillos in general and having one in our hometown of Clermont is such a plus! We've been several times and it's always been great! I love their cheeseburgers and fries with a milkshake! Get their cheese sauce for the fries!! Their staff have always been friendly at both drive through and inside service.

We have heard good things about Portillo's, and choose to experienced the news restaurant tonight. Walking up to the front doors, we noticed 50's music playing in the patio seating area. We entered to find a pleasantly fun 50's diner decor. They have an easy to read a la carte menu with a great selection of burgers, salads, sandwiches and hotdogs. They were well-staffed, and the young lady taking our order was really pleasant and helpful. The food came out really quick! We each had burgers and fries - very tasty! We loved the char-grilled patties. Mine was a littlemdry, but very flavorful - plus the bacon was crispy, as God intended.Overall, we really enjoyed Portillo's. Very tasty food, pleasant staff, and a fun environment! As we left, we both agreed that we will be back!

I was excited to go here. People in some of my online groups were so happy that this chain was opening restaurants in our area. My expectations were high.Driving into the parking lot the building gives off a good appearance and walking inside it is very impressive. The decor is reminiscent of 1950s/60s diners. The food prep and ordering areas are very modern with a lot of stainless steel and vintage signs.My order was a beef and sausage bowl. Well ... they were out of sausage. Several people in my group also wanted sausage based menu items. Very disappointing. This is supposed to be one of their signature menu items. The option was just to get a beef bowl.I like to checkout menus before going to a new restaurant. The menu beef bowl looked like a distant cousin to what I got. I know about food stylists.Other people enjoyed their meals especially their hot dog and beef sandwich. Perhaps I made the wrong choice.My test always is ... would I go back, Yes but would order something else. The jury is out and will update in the future.

My husband and everyone that I know absolutely LOVE Portillo's for their chocolate cake. EVERYONE is obsessed with it! Now, this is my first time at Portillo's and I am well aware they're known for their hot dogs, so my review is based on their Italian beef sandwich and speed of service. The menu is laid out ok BUT I didn't realize the toppings were all separate :(. So when I got my food, I was a big flop hahaha the bread and meant tasted amazing, however. I would've gone to order toppings but it did take roughly 15 mins (felt forever) to get my meat and bread. At the register, I did say the sandwich and whatever it comes with but I guess it was nothing lmao. I love the interior, so colorful and vibrant! I will go back and update my review :)

This place is legendary for some. Gourmet hot dogs are its specialty. Our meals were fine. The interior is cute, with a nod to local attractions like the Citrus Tower. Our lunches were okay. Wife reports her chicken tasted like it had been frozen. Not Chick fil A. More like a McDonald's McChiken. I like it here. Will return.

For the burger and Chicago hotdog lover, this place is quite good. Went in and I chose to place my order without help. The machine makes it so easy and fast. Simply put cut the line by doing it yourself. Places extremely clean, well organized. The food is pretty good also. I had Chicago hotdog very tasty.
