Popeyes Louisiana Kitchen

We ordered through the app and our order was ready when we arrived at the drive-thru. The staff member was very friendly and our food was warm. They gave me a good amount of fries. It was a slow day and there were only a few customers inside. I love their ghost pepper sandwiches. Hopefully they keep those and also bring back the blackened chicken sandwich.

The service was amazing. Miss Willie, the front desk cashier was kind, courteous and very responsive to everyone's needs

Lowe is a great asset to this restaurant. He's so incredibly upbeat and friendly that I felt bad for him having to work here. I waited a crazy amount of time to receive my chicken sandwich and it was cold. They prepared it with a obnoxious amount of sauce on it so the bun was mushy. My fries were cold, hard salt sticks and the iced tea had enough sugar in it to make your teeth ache. It was a very unpleasant experience.

Since the world has been overtaken by a craze for crunchy spicy chicken sandwiches, I felt it was my duty to try them all and report back. Here are my results:Popeyes: The original line-around-the-block chicken sandwich is still the best. The buttermilk coating is crispier than the competitors, as are the pickles, and the spicy mayonnaise has a real kick to it. Also, the toasted brioche bun is sturdy enough that it doesn't disintegrate as you eat it. 690 calories.McDonald's is the newest entrant in the spicy crispy chicken sandwich war, with their appropriately named Spicy Crispy Chicken Sandwich. This turned out to be quite a bit better than I was expecting. They actually went for the spicy, with an attention-getting pepper sauce. The chicken was very tender, if not exactly crispy in a deep fried chicken way, and the pickles were good. Unfortunately the choice of a potato roll that turns to mush as you eat the sandwich was a low point. This sandwich has the lowest calories of all that I tried, at 530.Wendys now has a Spicy Jalapeño Popper Sandwich, and its ingredients are promising. Unlike the others, it contains real slices of jalapeños, crispy bacon, and cheddar cheese. In fact, all the ingredients were excellent except the chicken. My piece was extraordinarily tough and chewy. I would give it another try, but the bun and the chicken coating weren't all that exciting. 600 calories. KFC: You'd think the original chicken take-out place would have chicken down pat, but this is not one of the better choices. KFC seems to keep changing their sandwich offerings, but they have yet to get it quite right. The Crispy Colonel was a flop, and the replacement I tried was just plain boring. On the bright side, it's probably lower in calories because it is small.The winner: Popeyes, because it's actually crunchy and spicy, and on the best bun.

This location is closest to my office. I've visited a handful of times over the past 3 years or so and my most recent visit was in the last couple of weeks. I ordered the 2pc chicken with a side, drink, and biscuit. I got my food in a reasonable time manner. Everything was a decent temperature and tasted like I expected. The staff was ok, some more pleasant than others. On the whole this location is ok. Nothing special, nothing terrible.

I ordered for co workers ahead for pick up.Still had to wait 30min after arriving.The manager acted as if he was inconvenienced. On the plus side, the cashier was very pleasant and empathetic.Not her fault her supervisor was having a "moment " All and all a disappointing buying experience.

Came here for drive thru. Was quickly helped - ordered, paid, and waited for my order along the side since they were preparing it. The food quality was as expected compared to other Popeyes. Service was with a smile!

I still give this place a 5 star rating. There are two locations near where I live but I choose to go here because of the service. Miss Willie is such a pleasant person as well as the other girls working there. The current manager (Charles?) used to be a cook there and he was nice. Now I sense a little arrogance in him and makes you feel he does not want to resolve an issue or concern.I understant that there is no law in Florida requiring restaurants to provide drinking water to customers. But I drink water everywhere I go, not because I am cheap but I just really like water with lots of ice. Last night, we were going to dine in as usual and bought a small drink and asked for a cup for water and the manager explained that people ask for water cup and get soda instead. For me to have water, I have to buy a bottled water or pay for the cup. I explained that if I want to steal drinks, I would have just drink from the same cup of my spouse instead but being honest, I will not do that. If they are really trying to control their food cost, then put the drinks behind the counter instead. The manager would rather lose a sale than to provide a one time exception to a customer who has been going there since 2015.

On December 11th, 2023 at approximately 1:17 pm I ordered wings a la carte via the company application which included a one time BOGO offer.I noticed the entire order was not the same flavor as ordered, and inquired about the issue with the manager on duty, whom I was told was "Brianna" that gave a very unprofessional and unpleasant response as she stated the order appeared on her end as two different flavors. She also proceeded to demand I pay an additional amount for the order.As this is my first and last experience at this store, I would highly suggest this manager be re-trained or removed as her response to this small issue may shed light on her leadership as a whole. Please screen your applicants better before offering them a position with this company.

POPEYES West Colonial, ORL, FL location: The woman that prepares the food that wears a blue shirt, is EXTREMELY RUDE, unprofessional and her face looked so miserable.The cashier ringing up my order did not give me the option for classic or spicy for my 3-pc dark combo. About 3 minutes after I ordered, I realized the receipt said classic, and I did not specify I wanted spicy. I said to the cashier, "I'm order #84 ,if my order has not been made yet, can they switch to spicy?" The cashier went to the lady in the blue shirt and repeated exactly what I said. The lady in the blue shirt says with a twist of her neck, "That order been made. That order been made." And proceeds to turn the corner. So the cashier comes back up and says, the order was already made. I said ok but thought to myself, odd, I do not see any orders waiting to be called. The other gentleman preparing food for the drive-thru says to the cashier, let me look at the order, I can make it. He walks over to the lady's station that prepared my order to prepare my order. Then the lady in the blue shirt comes back from around the corner.....the gentleman says to her he switched it out and hands the bag to her. All while she puts the bag on top of the counter for the cashier to hand to me, she is mouthing what sounded like "I wasnt gonna change out that order......."(twist of the neck) and repeats its like 3 times while mumbling while looking at me. I get my order and asked the cashier the name of the guy that switched my order, and she said "Harry". I kindly thanked Harry aloud so the lady in the blue shirt can hear me. She just needs to be fired, period. I will not return to that location, ever.
