The best BBQ in Polk City. I loved the Texas toast and smoked brisket. Mmm mmm good. The friendliest people that work here too. Lots of outdoor seating and perfect for a meal outside with the pups. Great job y'all

Came here on a Sunday evening, no one else in the restaurant, almost thought it was closed. Lots of pics on the wall touting awards and festivals, so i was def excited to try some good southern bbq. I had the brisket platter, hash brown and collards. It was good, but nothing special to me. My wife had the pulled pork, and felt the same way. I'd go back if i was in the area, would get something different though. Our servers were quick and friendly, never saw another group come in the rest of the evening surprisingly.

Cold food, bad and rude service, gives trump supporter vibes which is of course very bad.

Great food, I had the smokin' grilled cheese with pork. It's so good, I'm taking the rest of it home, if it even makes it home our server was very nice. If you get the sandwich I'd suggest combining the meat with the Mac n' cheese, it's awesome.

Great local bbq spot. I pass it all the time on 33 and would have stopped to eat here a long time ago. The pork was perfectly tender and the Mac n cheese was super creamy. The baked beans are savory, not sweet. Our server was very kind and speedy. It's a very casual place with locals and passer-bys sropping for good bbq. Stop in, you will love it!

Great service. Cute location. Good food. Stopped in for lunch. Ordered the brisket sandwich on Texas toast with a side of coleslaw and sweet tea. It was filling and tasty.

I've had better bbq from Sonny's. Pulled pork didn't have a hint of bbq pit flavor and sides were pretty mediocre. Prices were run of the mill for a local bbq restaurant but food just didn't seem to hit. Service was okay, nothing spectacular.

Give this bbq establishment a try. I think you will love it! We're from out of town. We were riding on the bike trail nearby. We saw on our Apple maps this bbq restaurant and decided to give it a try. We are thankful we stopped and we will return again. My husband had the pulled pork sandwich on toast. I had the pulled pork w/ mac & cheese, collard greens, and corn bread. There are different sauces on the table you can use depending on your taste preferences. All the sauces are delicious. We loved our meals!!! The employees are so incredibly nice and the place is clean. We had our two dogs with us so we sat at outside tables. Our food was brought out to us and the manager checked on us more than once to ensure we enjoyed our meals. She told us we should try the brisket next visit. The brisket prep takes three days to make. We can't wait to return!! Thank you Polk City BBQ!
