Exceptional dining experience for us. The service was outstanding and the food was absolutely delicious! We ordered the grilled skirt steak, bandeja paisa and the rotisserie chicken for entrees. The empanadas for appetizers and the flan for dessert. The service was the best we have had in forever! All around fabulous dinner experience for us. Highly recommended.

We went here just for a quick drink and an appetizer. The whiskey pineapples were 2 for 1 at 13.99 which was a really good price. The drink was really really good. We decided to try the beef empanadas, which were so mouth watering i wanted more, LOL. They were actually stuffed packed with meat so they don't skimp ya there. Everyone was so nice, and helpful. I will definitely be going back.

Got here around 1600 and only one other patron in the joint...also at the bar as it turns out. Bright and airy but kinda cramped space with a cross between minimalist modern and Peruvian decor. It looks like a misbegotten love child between Old Incan and Bauhaus Moderne. Blech! One other remarkable thing...how NOISY it is in here with obnoxiously loud music playing and bouncing off the bare walls and metal ceiling. Meanwhile, it smells incredibly clean in the restaurant...like the whole place was washed and mopped with bleach water. That even carries with the restroom!Barkeep is Isabella...she spoke so softly in this loud cavernous space I had to ask her to repeat herself every time she said anything. Quite soon after we were seated, she asked if we wanted apps...can we look at the menu please? I think she got the idea because she backed off a little and waited for me to summon her each time thereafter.Once I DID, I ordered skirt steak aka churrasco, while my Queen Bee kept it simple with a quarter roast chicken. Peruvian cuisine is apparently known for roast chicken, so there ya go. She ordered dark , but lo and behold they brought out a breast and a wing, aka white meat. If U look at her plate, you'll see that the wing looked like it belonged to a baby duck rather than a full-grown chicken. Both entrees come with beans and rice along with a choice of ripe or unripe plantains, or cassava. She had "maduros" and I the cassava. The latter came out like steak fries and the former...well: maduros. IYKYK... I can say one thing about everything on both plates...B-L-A-N-D! When the best seasoned item on either plate was a piece of roast chicken breast, you know that it's time to check the salt and pepper supply in the kitchen.Skirt steak came with one of the oddest chimichurri sauces I ever tasted...more like vinegar than olive oil and garlic. Isabella had put down a small ramekin of jalapeño cream sauce and another of what amounts to garlic ranch. At least those had a lil flavor to them. Rice, beans, steak and chicken had no such luck. Honestly I don't know if I'd have tried this joint had it not been so close to our timeshare and didn't have 2-for-1 draft beer. Queen Bee had a glass of Cabernet and even THAT didn't have much flavor or taste. When Isabella asked whether we wanted coffee or dessert, we replied with a resolute "no." Were one to ask if we'd return, we'd reply with exactly THAT too. N-O!!!!

I actually really like Pio Pio in other locations, but even though I live right down the street I haven't returned to this one. First of all, the food is good! And when Pio Pio first opened at other locations you felt like you were getting a really good value for your family to eat. Unfortunately that isn't the case at this location with VERY high tourist area pricing for lower cost foods like rotisserie chicken and plantains. The temp in this location also seems to have issues which is not being helped by their insistence on leaving their front door open in summer to show they are open. As others have mentioned it is loud and service wasn't great even though the restaurant was empty. Fix the prices, the AC and the service and the food will speak for itself and bring people in.

Ambiance was nice. Very pretty location. We went on a Friday night and there was a DJ but he wasn't really playing loud music, it was kind of low. He was playing like a mix of music not only Latin. (Could've been better honestly.) Everyone said their food was good/ok but some of it lacked flavor. What really helped was the white garlic sauce that they provide, it was delicious and you can literally pour it on everything.Service was good. Overall, I'd probably go back but I've been to other locations that the food had a lot more flavor.

Wonderful food, wonderful service and great restaurant! Traveling for work is a great opportunity to try something different that's local and Pío Pio Vineland didn't disappoint (thanks Yelpers!). The Bandeja Paiso was a wonderful and super filling dish. The meats were tasty and when they were paired with the garlic and jalapeño sauces, it was perfection. So yummy! Our server/manager was really friendly and attentive. The restaurant was fairly quiet for a Tuesday evening and it had a cute design. I could see it being very lively if it were full. Definitely try it if you want Puruvian/Colombian food!

What a great meal. We started off with their soup of the day (chicken + broth, corn and root vegetables) as well as some beef/chicken empanadas (Columbian style ) which are accompanied by their signature** creamy garlic** & spicy Pio Pio sauce. For the entrees, the rotisserie chicken with rice/beans & tostones was absurdly delicious and we grabbed an additional side of maduros which came as a full plate of apx 9pcs. (I do prefer white rice over yellow rice, so if you're the same don't forget to specify). The chicken is off the hook. Period. The crispy, flavorfully skin adorned the tender, juicy, falling-off-the bone meat and added to the perfect bite of every single accompaniment. It's like a flavor festival on a plate.Drinks were decent, and the service is spot on.An excellent experience and def a "we've gotta come back here again [soon]" type of experience. If you're in the area, don't even think twice about a visit... You won't regret it Ps- we had a group of 9 + 3/4 (a 1 year old and a 5 year old)... The service was truly great with the staff having been accommodating from the minute we called in.
