Peggy's Country Kitchen

Actually on a road trip and starting searching. Thank you yelp. Stopped at Peggy's which is breakfast and lunch spot along highway 1. Really clean and service was pretty good. Surprised the waitress with yelp checkin freebie. She's neve d seen it. Country breakfast for Noth of us. Scrambled for candyce. Over medium for me. Eggs done good for both. Good service good food. And not far off tge beaten path. A good find

We recently went to breakfast at a local chain and it really wasn't great. We were going to try another one within the chain to see if it was better but then thought of trying Peggy's! I'm glad we did! The breakfast and the service outshined the other place by far!! They were noticeably short staffed but the server never acted like it and did a great job! We had:Corn beef hash skilletThe 2 egg breakfastIt really was very tasty, hot, and came out quickly. Butter and jellies on the table for toast is alway a hit for me, thanks!

We came in for breakfast. Our server was good. She said only one cook was working so maybe slow although the wait for food wasn't bad. We ordered three different breakfasts and the food wasn't good. The ambiance and service were fine but we wouldn't return due to the food quality and taste.

If you are booking for a small local place to eat breakfast, then you might consider Peggy's. We were seated immediately by Mary. The interior is small with booth seating. It is the kind of place that you will find the same faces there daily.Food is as if you made it at home. I i choose the sunrise special, two eggs, hashbrowns, and toast. It was good and very reasonably priced at $6.95

Peggy's Country Kitchen is a standalone building in a shopping plaza. It is basically across the street from the No Name Saloon. It is a simple menu, built around southern comfort food.The food is pretty much no-frills, but that is not a bad thing. Comfort food is called comfort food because it not only feeds the body, but it also feeds the soul.All in all, Peggy's Country Kitchen is a good choice for breakfast.

Everyone was so nice our waitress was wonderful and so kind and sweet. Our food came out quick and hot, it was nice and quiet in there I would recommend to anyone that is looking for a good hot and quick family breakfast/meal they also have a lunch menu.

Service was great; they are open before 7a; very generous portions; and delicious eggs, pancakes, sausage, and biscuits!!!!!! Coffee was super!!!!!

Delicious home cooking. Food was hot and flavorful. I ordered mine ahead and she had everything just as I wanted. Best Hollandaise sauce I've had in awhile. Definitely worth it and I will be going back. 5 stars Friendly staff and friendly customers.
