Papi Smash'd Burger

Not gonna lie. Best smash burger of all time. Also most expensive. $12.00. No fries, no drink included. And if you have to park in a garage, up to another $8.00.Too expensive to add to my routine but definitely something to look forward to every few weeks.

Papi is serving up some pretty solid smash burgers and fried chicken sandwiches in downtown Orlando. I really appreciate their unique burger combinations, infusing Latin flavors into their signature creations.So far, I've really enjoyed Papi's OG burger (2 beef patties, smashed onion, American cheese, sweet heat pickles, martin potato bun, and papi sauce), as well as Papi's Side Chick (24-hr spice brined crispy chicken, hot spice dust, cabbage apple slaw, sweet heat pickles, and roasted red pepper aioli).It's a bit pricey imo -- $15-18 for a burger or sandwich that doesn't come with any fries or side items, but you can add crinkle cut fries for $5. They also have yuca fries as a side option. I've only gone in person once and the wait for the food was a bit long, but these burgers are best enjoyed when they're hot and fresh. I do order them on UberEats occasionally, but the travel time for delivery definitely impacts the quality. I would recommend dining in if you can.

A good burger with a twist? That's exactly what can be found here as they have a very unique and awesomely flavorful menu that you can't go wrong with!Of them I went with the Big Mak and I must say it was delicious as the seer on the meat was awesome and super crispy just the way a smash burger should be and then the yummy sauce with that fried plantains on it are totally the kicker to make something just that much more unique in that burger way!The yuca fries were awesome crispy on the outside and perfect in the middle so much so that I couldn't imagine getting just regular fries here as these were where it's at!Overall super yummy burgs and a unique menu that I hope to get to come back to try again as I'm always looking for yummy and unique burgers and that's exactly what can be found here!

Solid 3.5/4Went for a late night, thursday dinner with 3 people. I ordered the Papi Chulo along with my friend. We both enjoyed our burgers but didn't care for the bananas.My friend got the Loco Fries and she enjoyed them and my husband got the Noche En Miami. We split the chulo style fries. The chulo fries were great! No ketchup needed. Surprised the burgers do not come with a drink and fries, everything is separate. So I got a cup of water with my meal.The tables weren't as clean as I would like them to be and I did see one of the workers touch the top of the burger (that was ready on the food window) with their bare hands, to check to see what kind of burger it was before sending it out, i'm assuming... But as someone who works in the food industry, bare hands + cooked food = ick. 1/2 of our food came out quicker than our other 2 meals and my friends were almost completely done before our food came out so I was a little impatient with the timing.I enjoyed my meal, gobbled it up to be exact because it was good. I liked the music & really like the decor, but i'll check out other spots nearby before coming back!

Probably the best smash burger in town, comparable to Cow & Cheese and takes the crown. I am rating 3 stars because not everyone in the back is wearing gloves and the person working the front went into the back with no gloves handling the food. The service was also a bit of a wait, maybe they were short staffed at the time, not sure. The passion fruit lemonade was perfect! Not too sweet and refreshing, paired well with the burger actually. Ambiance was a chill vibe, this restaurant is nestled downtown and very casual.

Located in downtown Orlando, Papi Smash'd Burger is located down the street from a lot of the bars. It's a small place with a good amount of seats. I came by at night and you could hear the music from the bar next door. You order and pickup at their counter.On the day I came their menu was even more limited than the menu pictures posted online. Not sure why that was, but we got their OG smashburger and the papi loco fries, which were fries topped with everything on their smashburger - two beef patties, pickles, cheese and special sauce. Food came out in about 5-10 minutes. The burgers were good. The sauce and the cheese were great. I will say, I did not like that my buns were a little colder than room temp. Most smashburger places usually toast the buns or at least heat them up. The temperature difference between the buns and the patties just caught me off-guard. Papi loco fries were good, exactly what you expect. Can't go wrong with those toppings on fries.

We went after an orlando magic game, so it was a late night try. This is important because the menu looks delicious but late night you can choose from 1 burger, wings, or fries. The food was good. The loaded burger fries were probably my favorite. If I had come during a regular time it probably would have gotten 5 stars. I understand why they decrease the menu late, but I wish it would say somewhere on there website they did, as we went for specific burgers but didn't know they didn't have them until we ordered.

Food was fantastic, and the girl behind the counter was extremely friendly and helpful. Burger was huge and tasty, the fries were crispy and the chorizo cheese sauce was fire!!!!!

This burger at the orlando city game was delicious. It was hot and freshly cooked on a potato bun. Service was quick and the lady serving it was friendly. Give them a try if you're ever at a game. I hope to visit the location in orlando next. 10/10 would get again.

When we first walked into the restaurant, we were greeted by my "cousin" Yanni... meaning she felt like family and greeted us as if she knew us. Right off customer service was on point. She was very patient as we tried to make up our mines for the offerings of the night. Watson and John T went to work once our order went thru in the kitchen. They brought the burgers out and explained what each burger had and what made each one special. They also explained the accompanied sauces and what to dip where. It was a burger experience with an explosion of flavor in each bite. This is definitely our new burger spot! Even with over 30 minutes ride one way, we'll make this work. A must try!
