Papi Pincho

For those that are adventurous, but don't know Puerto Rican food that well, come and try this place. This is my second or third time going where I just ask them to give me something for lunch and feed me. The ladies might look at you funny if you say that, but they will do exactly what you just asked and OMG it was delicious. Even a simple thing as rice and beans is heaven full of flavor. I did get some pork and the crunchiest pork skin everyummy. I don't know how to say it but adventurous people, others that will try great food and of course people from Puerto Rico come and try food so, so good... you may want to slap your mother.

If you love pinchos this is the spot. Their chicken and pork pinchos are our go to! They also have delicious empanadas. Always piping hot and fresh. They have plenty of outdoor seating and service is quick. Sometimes parking can be tricky but worth it in my opinion.

It's over hyped. I was really looking forward to trying their food but was quite disappointed. The rice was very mushy, Almost like it was a few days old and re heated. The service i will say was good. The people taking orders and running the front were very pleasant. It's a decent and fairly clean location. To each their own but for me it's a no.

Caught them just before closing, which is probably my only complaint. I wish they were open later so I could get to them after work on my commute home. For starters we got alcapurria, stuffed yucca, and pastelillo. The stuffed yuca was amazing. I forgot to ask what it was stuffed with when I was there, but I don't care. That was my favorite. My main entree was pincho de pollo, which came with arroz con gandules, maduros, and escabeche. The chicken was so good. Nice flavor, great crisp, ya know. The rice was actually the reason I was checking the place out. I had an itch for some good PR rice and it did not disappoint!

We are newer to the area and have had great food from Papi's so far. Jerry is always great in helping us figure out what to try since Puerto Rican food is new to us.

The atmosphere is like back home in PR, always a smile and care for their customers like they were family. The food it's excellent and they have good prices.They have plenty of food to choose from even that it's a small place. I had never been disappointed with them
