Papa Bees

I've always heard people rave about Papa Bees for their wings, and now I totally understand why! We finally got the chance to try it, and it absolutely lived up to the hype.We stopped in later in the evening to place a to-go order. Inside has a ton of seating and TVs throughout if you want to dine in, though. They have a dedicated counter for takeout orders and even text you when your food is ready- which only took about 10 minutes!We ordered both boneless ($11.99 for 10) and traditional wings ($15.99 10) in the medium garlic sauce, and wow the smell alone had us excited. The flavor was unreal! The wings were big, juicy, and cooked perfectly. The boneless ones were my favorite. We also split a small order of fries with cheese sauce, and let me tell you, the "small" is huge! Definitely a great addition to the meal. If you're a wing lover, this spot is a must-try. We'll definitely be back!

Papa Bee's has been a staple and local favorite to the Longwood area for many years now. They have a unique variety of sauce blends for their wings as well as all the classic flavors as well.Strictly speaking on their wings they are very crispy and flavorful. Their fries can be a bit on the greasy side for those of you that like to pair fries with your wings. I've had some other items from them such as their fried shrimp that also lean on the greasy side.Also of note, almost any time you order to go or are eating in expect a pretty decent wait time. They are always busy and there is always lots going on there so expect some wait time.As for the ambiance there, it is very much one of a local pub/shack type of vibe. Think sports bar/dive bar. It is in a great area as it sits directly next to a local beer brewing shop. This allows you to get your order of wings in and enjoy a quality beer.The bottom line, they have good wings but other items on their menu can lack a bit but if you're looking for some quality wings in a no frills environment this is the place for you.

I didn't even get a chance to take a picture of the wings but they were good! I had buffalo garlic and Parmesan garlic and both were good though I prefer my parm sauce alittle thicker she less oily.The wings are a great size which is a plus!The atmosphere is amazing and honestly I euros go back just to watch some games there with so the TVs and clear view.Expect to wait a bit as it takes a while to make but enjoy the process as you can watch it in their open view kitchen!

Food:The Mac and Cheese Bites were good and the best of what we ordered.The Garlic Parmesan boneless wings were okay, nothing outstanding.The spicy teriyaki was mid and nothing to write home about, they weren't horrible and the spicy level was enjoyable and not painful. We got the 10 boneless wings each, they don't allow splitting of flavors which loses points for us.Atmosphere:Music is millennial and annoying, no volume on the TVs and the media that IS playing is trash and ads. Clean restaurant and moderately nice staff. They were super quick with our order and parking isn't too much of a hassle.

3.5 out of 5We were heading to a local area and decided to stop for a quick meal beforehand. Wandered through Ronald Reagan and stopped here. It was pretty packed with families enjoying their Friday. We pulled up at the bar since my best friend and I planned to get in and out fast. My stomach was acting up, so I went with a salad and grilled chicken. My best friend did the chicken salad with fried chicken. Both salads came out in the wooden bowls and with a plastic knife. What? We had to request a fork, but I think the kitchen was just busy. The salad was good, about a full cup of chopped up, grilled chicken with a few croutons, and a sprinkling of parmesan cheese. Nothing out of this world, but it filled me up without upsetting my belly, so I was good. ($12). The service was good, my soda was filled quickly, and the food came out equally fast.

They tout themselves as the "Best Wings in Town", I have to say, there is some truth in that advertisement...Located in a strip mall on one of the main drags through Longwood, you find this place quite hopping on a Saturday afternoon, well after lunch and well before dinner. My son and I stopped in to put some food in us before our brewery hop this Saturday afternoon and we weren't disappointed by the place. The service was friendly, the food was good, and their boneless wings were downed and finished easily. Definitely a place to drop in and try and give a try.

Great food across the board!! We've followed PB's from the old location to here. A definite favorite. Wings! Curly fries! Chicken tenders! Sandwiches!! Crazy service with smiles. Get down and ready to eat atmosphere.

Great wings and good value. The curly fries were really good but needed salt. The wings are huge and really good. I like that they're still crunchy but covered in sauce. We took this to go but the people who took our order were friendly and the food came out pretty fast.The restaurant on the inside is pretty big and they have outdoor seating as well. Great to grab some food and take outside and have a beer from hourglass brewing next door. I am giving them 4 stars instead of 5 because the fries were not crispy and needed salt and I wish there were more sauce options.

They are one of Longwoods hidden treasures. And the staff and management is A to the 1. If they mess up and order, they'll take care of it right away. Been going there since they were on 434.

We finally made it to Papa Bees!!! Service was amazing! Did was delish! Looking forward to going back and trying more items in the menu!
