Whenever I'm in Orlando, I have to swing by Pang's BBQ to take home some Chinese BBQ home. On the weekend, you'll always find a line, so I come a few minutes before 10am, so I don't have to wait.I always order the pork roast, roasted duck, beef tendons, and BBQ cha siu pork. I have intentions to order to last me and my family a lot of meals worth but it's just so tasty that we usually only can get about 3 meals. I wish Tampa had a BBQ stand/stall like this, but maybe not, as that could be dangerous to my cholesterol levels. I highly recommend checking this place out! You're going to love it!----------------------------As of 03/17/24 these were the prices, but i'm sure it's changed since I meant to submit this review a while ago.Roast pork $13.99/lbHalf roast duck $16.09Beef tendon $14.99/lbBbq char sure 10.99lb

This is our go to for peking or roast duck to go. They sell both plus bbq pork. Hidden inside Enson market it has a strong following. Today there were folks in line from Clearwater and another from Cape Coral. If they are going to drive that far, you know it Has to be good. We usually get a half Peking duck for the two of us and that never disappoints.

Been meaning to come here for a year but don't live in the area and when I have come, it was already closed. I came on a very busy day, July 4th. Everyone was there ordering for their big holiday party. We were in town and it was my only opportunity. The line took about and hour and a half. The reason it was so slow was because there is only one person cutting the meat-there really should be two. And he was doing it pretty slow. Definitely not efficient at this place compared to many Chinese bbq places I've been to. It's only my bf and I eating this food. We ordered half a Peking and half a roast duck to compare. It was a lot but we also wanted to try the tendon. They told us we can only have half a pound not even one piece. Kinda annoying because they weigh it out anyway. I needed some rice and tried their fried rice as well. At the checkout, the lady said it was $5 for the rice. A lunch plate is $6.99 where you get two sides for two more dollars. It didn't make sense and I let her know. I could have made my own rice but I don't live in the area and we were visiting. But I'm Asian and I need my rice haha. After all that, my final judgement on the food is:Duck: I didn't pay attention to which one was Peking and which one was roast but the tray with the darker or burnt meat on the right was drier and had lesser meat. Would not order it again as it is not my cup of tea. The tray of duck to the left had juicer and more flavorful meat. Definitely more fatty as well. I'm used to having roast duck from Chinese bbq places and this is what I'm more familiar with and more of my cup of tea. Tendon:Surprisingly not greasy or fatty. Had a nice flavor. But I'm wouldn't order it again. Fried rice: Very greasy and no flavor. I would get white rice if they have. I would come for just the juicy roast duck. I didn't bother to ask for any sauces as I forgot since I was in line for so long. Nor did they offer any. However, I wouldn't wait in that long line next time.

This is located inside the Enson Market and a very welcome addition for hot food option here. All the food looks and smells delicious. If you enjoy Chinese BBQ eats, then this is indeed a very good place. Good value and good quality, can you ask for anything more. The lunch box option is indeed popular. There were some long lines at times. They only offer a 2 option choice rice combo that allows you to choose between fried or white rice. One advice I would recommend is to get there earlier rather than later because once they sell out, you are out of luck. The line for the BBQ can get longgggg!Employees were pleasant and helpful. Go try it out.

They've had a Chinese BBQ place within Enson (formerly First Oriental) forever and a day. But only recently (yesterday to be exact) did I notice that it has a name, and a sign. They have your usual traditional staples: char siu, crispy skin duck, crispy skin pork, various flavors of chicken and so on, some of which you may have sampled and relished. What you may not yet realize is that they also have beef tendon! If you don't know what it is, it's precisely that - tendons taken from the steer's legs, which, when properly cooked, becomes a delicious and healthy dish (often with star anise). Why should you care about tendons, you ask? Well, if you care about healthy joints, for one thing, and skin that stays young and elastic (and you don't want to make the mistake that Dr. Faust made, doing a deal with Mephistopheles) you now have a choice: you would want to put collagen in your vocabulary and your diet. It is not inexpensive, thought. Cooked tendon runs you $13 a lb, which is more expensive than most of the other meats. Maybe it's the amount of work in 'extracting' the tendon, but there are some pretty exotic meats that are sky-high in price (Oxtail - skin and bone and all - was $11 a lb at Enson, raw). I got two 'little pieces' of tendon and there was very little change from a $10. Raw, it's $7 a lb. Yes it IS a lot of work, but I just might look up videos on Youtube and give that a try next time.A tip that I've found useful with Chinese BBQ. I almost NEVER ask them to cut the meat up for me. Not to be a hypochondriac, first of all, but just how clean is that cleaver and the cutting board? More importantly, if you have anything with a crispy skin, being able to put the meats skin up to warm in the oven may restore some of the crispiness, and it's often easy to do with a whole piece than something chopped up. Duck might be the exception - not only is it hard to transport with cleaving it, but the way they rearrange the duck in the box does make it quite easy to have a whole section skin up in the oven.

Some of the best Char Siu I've had. It's crispy and not too sweet. Meat is of high quality and has the right amount of fat.Duck is crispy and not overly salty. Would love to try their other meats. The lunch specials are fantastic. For $5.50 you get two items over rice. The items include some well cooked quality Chinese dishes such as curry chicken, pepper steak with peppers and more. The fried rice looked banging even though it was only cabbage and scallion. The color on it was a beautiful caramel. Will love to be back for more when I'm in Orlando. Come here if you want to cater for parties. You can buy a whole pig! Cheers

If zero was an option that's what this would be. We waited in line for 30 minutes for a Peking duck. They told us there were no more so we got the one pressed duck left. Then they brought out 3 Peking ducks. They refused to sell us one and saved for their friends in line behind us. The one man who refused us yelled at his coworker for bringing them out when we were there. We left without purchasing anything and will not be back.
