Came with a party of 5 on a Thursday lunch. My wife and I ordered the grilled pork chop with yuca fries and the "Pal Campo stuffed chicken filled with cream cheese, sweet plantains and guava sauce wrapped with bacon."Ambiance: 4/5Service: 4/5Food. 4/5 The grilled pork chop and yuca fries were delicious and perfectly cooked. The Pal Campo stuffed chicken was overcooked though the guava sauce was unique and complemented it well. We wished there was a stronger savory component to the seasoning of the chicken to balance the sweetness of the guava sauce.Price: 4/5

Just a couple miles from I-4 in a small strip mall, Pal Campo is simply adorned on the outside with "Latin Cuisine". Upon entering, you are transported to Puerto Rico! The decor and atmosphere makes you feel like you're in old downtown Puerto Rico. There's a side room with the bar that has a strong Christmas theme with small decorated trees hanging from the ceiling. The main dining room is filled with tables and chairs. The lighting is kept a little dark with their windows covered and tinted. There's music and even during lunch time there's a roaming band that is mic'ed and thus very loud. They really don't need to be mic'ed because everyone in the restaurant can hear their instruments just fine. The members have very nice voices too.It was a late Saturday afternoon and they weren't really busy so we were seated immediately. Our server Yanet brought us water right away.Fried Yuca root: Salted just right. Nice crispy fry and soft on the inside. Loved it. Yummy!Fried plantains: On par. Cooked just right and delicious. The sweetness of these plantains were a nice contrast to the rest of our meal.Beef empanadillas: Also known as fried Puerto Rican turnovers, they didn't look like the same as on the menu, but these hand pies can be shaped however you desire I suppose. The important part was how it tasted. The fried dough could've been flakier, but the taste was spot on. I would've preferred the dough to be a little thinner as parts of the empanadilla was rolled over itself so it was just thick dough with no filling at all. The seasoned ground beef inside was delicious. Yom Yom Yom.Chicken Marisco:The large chicken breast was grilled nicely then topped with cheese, spices and about 5 large shrimp (with tail on). Personally I would've dialed back the cheese topping because it was really overpowering the whole dish. The blend of spices made the cheese topping almost into a thick gravy that just engulfed and smothered the chicken with shrimp hiding underneath. I'm glad I had the yuca root as a side.If I return I would like to try their flank steak. Something worth mentioning is that the prices of some of their entrees are a lot (not a bit) on the high side, but their portions are large. It was Yanet's birthday and she was attentive throughout our meal. Viva la Puerta Rico!

My friend recommended Pal Campo, so since I had to drive up to Orlando for the weekend, I decided to give them a try. The restaurant has a lively, festive atmosphere with a nice bar and music. All of the staff, including our waiter, were very friendly and attentive. I really appreciated the outdoor seating since I had my dogs with me. The food was ok, not great. The next time I'm in town, I'll check them out again, but maybe try different items on the menu.

Having never had actual PR food before, I was pleasantly surprised. I couldn't tell you what the actual name of my dish was but it had chicken with garlic sauce topped by plantation's? Some sort of Potatoe I believe lol it was a huge serving only finished maybe half. Service was great and fast. Theming was very authentic to San Juan. I was there around 4pm and it looked like around 5 they were setting up for live music so next time I'll be going later to experience that

Puerto Rican restaurant in Orlando. Prices are reasonable and they have a lot of options. The place is large and bright filled with great music and wall art. They can accommodate large parties and the service was pretty swift. The food arrived fairly quick as well. The food was very flavorful but not my favorite.

Family and I visited a bit ago. Very hard to find a parking spot and we waited forever for a table. Tables are very close to each other, it is super uncomfortable as there are also no windows out. It is so packed that is claustrophobic. The food was "meh", tasted like cafeteria food. They have a solid competitor in a much better location and service. I will continue to visit their competitor by the Florida Mall.

My sister has been raving about Pal Campo for the past year, and we finally got the chance to visit together as a family. We loved it so much, we went twice! The food was so good. You get a lot of food, especially on the appetizer platter. Everyone was so lovely and welcoming. I loved the restaurant's theme and how it captures the essence of Puerto Rico. I would love to go back to try different items on the menu!

Inspired by Puerto Rico, my Enchanted Island, culture and cuisine, this restaurant offers a menu with the best Puertorrican and Latin dishes you could ever taste! I had the "Malanga & Taro Cream Soup", thick texture, very creamy, and extremely delicious; the "Fried Pork Chunk with Mofongo" had an unbelievable taste! The beer I drank was "Ñeñita Light", a beer from my hometown Caguas, which it was above & beyond cold, dressed like a bride, if you know what I mean! It has a friendly atmosphere and the mural decor transported me to the "Old San Juan and El Morro". The service was Amazing! Our server was very friendly and polite with a great knowledge of each plate on the menu. Bottom line, if you are for a treat of a delicious Latin meal...you will not go wrong with this restaurant! Enjoy!
