PACO Submarine

Walking into PACO Submarine is like walking into a little 50's sandwich shop. This is exemplified through the cheery attitudes of the staff and the clean, white uniforms they all adorn. The sandwiches were sublime. The Saki (a special on the day of me writing this review) was streets ahead of some of its competitors. My 6"3' buddy said his Belafonte was the best BLT he has EVER ingested. If you are ever within 100 miles of PACO Submarine, the trip is a must. These wonderful sandwich artists work indefatigably to deliver you a an experience unmatched.

1000000/10 recommend eating here. There is literally no better sandwich place in the Port Orange, Daytona, new Smyrna beach area. There's so much flavor in these homemade sandwiches and sauces. I love how unique their menu is, and the service is by far the best I've seen around here. I always get the OC fries as well. They are the best with their homemade sauce and homemade ranch. I could sit here and rave about Pacos all day long. You have to go try! The restaurant is clean and we usually sit outside under the string lights. It is to die for! Check their Instagram and social media for updates on their sandwiches on special.

Today was my first time coming here and it did not disappoint. Inside has received a facelift with bright paint but overall the same layout. We ordered two wailers a large fry and two drinks it was around $40. We came at lunch and it was pretty busy but we got our food within 10-15min and the staff was friendly. Our sandwiches were cooked well and had great flavor. I think personal preference I like fried chicken breaded but this was an interesting twist. The fries were my favorite omggg hand cut and seasoned to perfection. I was initially sad to see the previous business close but so happy to have this new addition and even happier to see they appear to be doing well.

Best fries in the city! I first heard about them from a Bing suggested article in the Daytona Beach News Journal. The crispy outside gives a delightful crunch leading to a perfectly yummy, pillowy interior. My mother and I also had the Belafonte, a nice twist on the classic BLT with smoked and sliced in house thick-cut bacon. Quite delicious! Avocado adds a great texture, and I really enjoyed the herbed mayo accompaniment.Come out and support a great local place!

From the moment you walk in until the exit you feel welcomed and glad you choose Paco! Menu is simple but very good variety of food groups! Also you will notice the cleanliness of the building and cooking area! Food delivered to table with smiles! Tea brewed fresh one can tell! Burger was awesome along with fries! I will be back soon Recommending this food establishment as blue ribbon on their burgers! Good work owners!

This place is an adventure. The sandwiches just smile and act natural and then sucker punch you in the tastebuds... in the best way. Fantastic sandwiches. Terrific people. Omg the desserts (don't forget to sign up for their PACO points towards a freebie sweet treat). Oh and the Caesar salad is the best I've ever had... have had it with chicken and with just the anchovies (which I had never eaten before but WOW is it incredible). The vibe is chill and decor is themed around the Life Aquatic movie. Husband and wife that met in fast-paced high-end culinary world and have brought their expertise and talents to the cutest and coolest sub shop. 10/10 recommend.

Welcome to New Smyrna Beach PACO Submarine, you've really raised the bar in NSB with your delicious selection of food and you're exceptional customer service. Today was my first visit to this newly opened sandwich shop and the entire experience was nothing short of amazing. PACO is a great addition to our community staffed with a crew that goes above and beyond to ensure everyone's visit here is the best it can be. This is a well thought out and executed business model, we experienced no start-up issues that so many restaurants go through, there's no doubt these guys figured it out before opening the doors.Don't let the exterior fool you this restaurant is spacious with plenty of indoor and outdoor seating and it's very clean and organized. We looked at the menu online before walking through the door so we only needed to walked up to the counter to place our order before finding a seat.We both decided on "The Clayton" this is such a delicious pastrami sandwich, the grilled rye bread and hand sliced pastrami married well with a tasty portion of sauerkraut, swiss cheese and creamy mustard, this sandwich has no competition in the area and something I was craving the moment I read the description on the menu. We shared a large fry which were delivered hot from the fryer, lightly salted and plentiful, after experiencing these fries I look forward to trying the ones topped with old bay and sauce. I reluctantly passed on this upgrade this visit but after seeing the quality of the fries here I'm sure they will hold up to anything.This is definitely a place I look forward to visiting over and over again to experience more of their delicious selections.

This place is legit!Very close to NSB popular Canal Street. Plenty of seating. Breakfast and lunch. Serves cane sugar sodas and wine/beer.You could taste that it was fresh. I had the lamb wrap and a small fry. Portions were significant. I will definitely come back to try the other sandwiches and recommend to my colleagues nearby.One of the owners was there running the shop. Very cool, friendly, and has a good backstory to the founding.Check them out!

Great food as well as wonderful service! Had lamb wrap and fries and spouse had the Clayton and very delicious! Just disappointed that we live too far away to come back again soon.

We have eaten here before and LOVED it, but this last time, I was SHOCKED at the teeny tiny amount of food served for $16!!!We order the fish and fries, and got 3-4 tiny small pieces of friend catfish and a handful of fries. It was enough to feed a toddlerNeedless to say, we would never recommend this meal due to the size and price! But do love many of the other items of the menu.
