My first time trying Kava. It was a really interesting option for my husband and I to try on date night. Since we have never tried the staff did an amazing job of describing the options and what to expect and what they recommended. The taste could be an acquired taste, but it was not bad for my first time. The place is very chill and relaxing even on a Friday night and a fun place to sit and relax. It is a fun experience and I recommend people stopping in and checking it out. Even if just to sit and relax with the staff.

This is a cozy cute little lounge. The staff is really friendly. I believe it is family owned and operated by a Tongan group. Christina was making and serving the drinks. She took her time out to explain what Kava is and how to drink it. The prices are very inexpensive. I tried the Ceremonial Kava. My girlfriend tried the Solomon Chip and I tried hers. It did not have too much of a difference in taste to me, but they originate from different islands. Those were the only two that were in stock at the time, so we didn't have the opportunity to sample anything else. The decor makes it feel like you're in the islands. I came for a special event and they didn't really play music until the end, so I wasn't fortunate to get he whole feel of the place, but I think I might come back when I'm in the area again. Hopefully they will have more variety available.

First time here today, and I had a double brew of Kratom. The Kava-tender was quick and efficient with producing my drink, and you can choose a shot of flavor to go with it for a small fee. Will come again -Clean Restroom-Polynesian decor and flags-Plenty of seats-Variety of music is played-Pool table-Happy hour availability -Gallon(s) of Kava can be purchased-Masks are encouraged

This LOUNGE has been a home to me for almost a year now. I have gained a new family in Rootz because of their welcoming loving environment! There is not another Kava lounge I would ever go to in Florida.

This place is the real thing for kava lovers.I've been back here a few times and it's very easy to just relax into the laidback atmosphere. Most importantly their kava is strong. A lot of people have a misrepresentation of kava from trying improperly prepared or weak awa. If you want to give kava a real test there is no better place in Orlando than this. And their shells are very well priced. They offer ceremonial ($3) , Solomon chip ($5), and reserve ($7).I have tried the first 2 and my favorite is ceremonial but a lot of people like the Solomon. They also have happy hour from 6-9pm M-Thurs. Half off shells. Great place!

I absolutely love Pacific Rootz. The atmosphere is so laid back, and it's a great place to just hang out. I usually bring card games and grab a few friends to just relax after a long week. The reggae they play is always good, and the on the first and last Friday of the month they have a DJ that plays the most amazing dancehall and roots reggae, hookah, and food for sale. Danny (the owner) and Christina make you feel super comfortable, and are both very cool people! I personally prefer the flavored Kava they serve, but Kava makes you feel VERY relaxed and stress free. It's no wonder Pacific Islanders are so chill.....lolIf you are tired of going to the club, and want a cool place to chill, then Pacific Rootz is where it's at!

I went here with my friends after a big dinner. It was my first visit here. It was a nice, small chill spot. It's located in one of the offices building but the same building as Izziban. It was not busy. I love the vibe of this place. The furniture is comfortable and a lot of seating here. The server helped me pick the right teas since it was my first time. I ordered Kava and Tropical Kava. I greatly enjoyed the tropical Kava but the traditional Kava had more calming effects. They do provide a side of pineapples to add sweetness taste and they do sell sugary snacks. They had a singer and she kept the mellow vibe. Definitely will come here for happy hour. They do have happy hour deals. I believe it was buy two get one free. I actually work just five minutes from this place. This is a great option than regular happy hour restaurants.

I found this tucked back in metrowest, closest to the Genini Hookah Lounge - both places are great! great customer service. they often have different batches. you can try a single, go for a double, or buy a gallon. it's relaxing but won't impair your judgement (so you can drive to and from). I like to order a double kava to go then head to Gemini to smoke hookah (the kava numbs the throat, making the hookah "go down smootherc.

I read the reviews in this place sounded good, but the tea was not good at all. I've had a lot of tease over the years and I paid $15 and couldn't even drink it. Also FYI it is a MAGA place.
