Oviedo Oyster House

First time here and came specifically for the oysters. We had traditional oysters and they were delicious and a good size. We also had the stuffed snapper which was their special. Snapper was cooked well and tasted fresh, not dry or overcooked. Staff was super friendly and quick to respond. Food came out quickly.Our little one loved the free game room. And it's pet friendly so that's a big plus for us. The little one had the oysters as well as a fresh pb and j. She gives it a thousand out of a thousand.

I stumbled across this place located next to Baywash car wash. It recently changed owners and names. The Oviedo Oyster House is a cute little spot with a decent size parking. I sat at the outside bar with my sister and friend. It was early afternoon so there wasn't much of a crowd.The weather was hot and there's fans, so it helped with the heat. The bartender/server was really nice and accommodating. I had a Kona beer on draft. We ordered the fried calamari, a dozen oysters, lobster rolls, fried fish and shrimp basket, and New England clam chowder. My least favorite was the lobster roll and clam chowder. The lobster rolls were a mix of lobster chunks and shrimp, and were a bit underwhelming. The clam chowder had a fishy taste and consistency was unappetizing. The lobster roll was only average in flavor. However, the rest of the items were great. I like the crispiness of the batter on the calamari and fish & shrimp basket. The onion rings were crunchy and the oysters were on par with other oyster bars.The price point was average.I enjoyed the experience and would come back with friends in the future. It's a nice start to a new reopening.

Sunday afternoon dining outside in the sunshine with drinks and seafood! Who could ask for better ambience and friendly service (nice work Amber!)

In the opening stage, spectrum was there working on TVs. Place looks good. The server was super nice and attentive. Food was good. We all enjoyed our meals. Looking forward to a return visit!

Great service, staff is extremely friendly and attentive. Had a great margarita and some onion rings- would definitely come again!

Food was greasy. Portions were very small and side dishes were not prepared prior to opening that day.

Inside is basically the same as the old place but clean! Don't expect anything fancy or quaint but do expect good food and good service.Local Oviedo crowd filled this place early on a Monday. I will tell you they have amazing 1/2 off specials on Mondays - we had a pound of fresh cooked, chilled peel and eat shrimp, New Zealand Mussels and Calamari all half off! Everything was delicious (soup could have been a bit hotter if I had to pick on something)Chill place to go in and get some good seafood with a big indoor outdoor bar.

Please due yourself favor don't go it's awful went to new location oh my onion rings disgusting clam chowder awful and ice cold Italian sub served on hotdogs bun drenched in salad dressing 1lb lettuce I think I saw a piece of tomato could not eat it waitress clueless I know when I was a waitress people only eat 1 bite of everything and don't want Togo box says it allLol wasn't worth a picture

It's so refreshing to find a good seafood place in the area. Regardless of their oyster and crab leg special today I went with Red drum fish platter and I did not regret it. Very well prepared and seasoned. And all the fixing with it was delicious. Kat was a great server and made me delicious drinks.

Slow service but they just opened so somewhat excusable. Oysters weren't sucked appropriately. They were left attached to the adductor so you had to dig at the muscle with a fork, ruining the oyster. For an oyster spot this is pretty inexcusable. Oysters were low quality, green, murky, and still dirty. Crackers were stale. Cocktail sauce wasn't terrible but the horseradish topping was watery. The bartender was also seen cleaning out the dirty ice chest cooler with a shop vac. She went outside to dump the murky water.m, wiped her hands on her pants and went right back to serving food and pouring drinks.
