Outriggers Tiki Bar & Grille

Wow! Great place to enjoy live music, view the marina, & watch dolphins and pelicans. Definitely dog friendly. They have a separate GF menu (see picture) and they have procedures in place to avoid gluten cross contamination. Our party had marina (mahi) tacos (one GF), fresh mahi gf sandwich, fresh grouper sandwich and kids fish bites. All were delicious. Also enjoyed the sides of Cole slaw, broccoli salad, fruit, and Brussel sprouts. The fruit (blueberries & strawberries) was the best we've had in Florida. Server was very knowledgeable and friendly. Manager even checked in on us. Hope to return someday!

This is only a review of the dish I ordered and not an indictment of the entire place. Ordered the encrusted Black Grouper. The problem with the dish was two fold. First, the fish itself was water filled and flavorless. Although the chef came out and attempted to make it right, anyone who has ever had a quality filet that has been perviously frozen, unless it is really dried out and seasoned well, you understand the taste. I can't verify what the problem was but the final product was a disaster.Second, if you're encrusting fish, the goal is to serve a piece of fish that has a fried like crust without the deep frying, oils saturation etc. This plate was served on top of a saturated serving of a "red potato mash" and finished with a very watery "pineapple chutney?". The moisture from both the top and bottom destroyed the texture of the fish. Encrusted implies a true baked/broiled crust. not a soggy mess.At $45 a plate and two attempts to get it right, it just turned out poor. The quality of the fish was again, flavorless, tasteless and full of water. Execution was doomed from the start. See the pic. Ask yourself is that an executed dish and worth $45 a plate?

Great place for a dockside grille. Thumbs up for the piña colada. The Peel & Eat Shrimp - 1/2 lb. Royal Red Shrimp - Choice of Hot or Cold - Classic Cocktail Sauce & Melted Butter, is an anomaly if you are not familiar with the royal reds. So good. The Millionaire Grilled Cheese - Maine Lobster & Lump Crab - Bacon - Imported Cheese - Spicy Aioli - Brioche Toast, is super filling to the point where if you have it for lunch you are probably not going to be having dinner.Service was quick and efficient. The ambience--well, you are dockside, and they do have "Tiki Bar" in their name, so that says a lot. Even if you are not making it out on the water, this is a worthwhile spot to enjoy the view from.

I visited here with my friend for an early brunch the food was delicious and our server was excellent and very attentive. A wonderful place with great views of the marina with an indoor and outdoor bar area. A must visit if your visiting New Smyrna and want a nice place to chill out and relax!

Finally arrived in Florida, first stop was Outriggers! Our server Sydney was a delight. I had my favorite key lime colada, so delish. We watched the boats go by and really felt we were on vacation. We will be back!

Great experience! Outriggers had live music. We sat outside by the marina with great views. Our server Jackie was exceptional! She was helpful and punctual! All our food was hot and everything came out very efficiently from the server assistants. We started with the fish bites, key lime colada, strawberry daiquiri! My hubby ordered the catch of the day pecan encrusted swordfish with Brussels and mashed potatoes and the lobster and crab sandwich with fries!! All of it was amazing!! We will recommend to everyone and come back!!

Extremely expensive. Maybe try out the Happy Hour? $17 cocktail is way too much. It's beautiful being right on the water so I guess that's why they charge so much.

Great atmosphere and food. Right on the water with good drink menu and friendly staff.

Went for Sunday brunch and it was great!! I got the Breakfast Chimichanga which was huge - I could only eat half. My husband got the fish sandwich and he thought it was great! Our server was super friendly and service was fast!! A beautiful view - definitely will be back!!!

Fantastic waterfront restaurant with plenty of fans to keep you cool and heaters for the winter. The menu is extensive but if you don't see anything you like then ask for the fried shrimp dinner. It is not on the menu. Also the crab and lobster cake is over as an entrée, but you can also have it as an appetizer if you tell the wait staff to ask the chef. Fanciest lobster/crab cake appetizer anywhere. See pic. Don't expect this presentation every time, but depending on what the chef feels like doing, you will still get a good appetizer.
