Weeknight dinner. Live locally. Drive past it all the time. We should've kept on driving. Definitely no longer curious as to how the food is. Not sure why the parking lot looks so packed. The food isn't good. To be clear, Tuesday night, it wasn't that busy but for some reason, we didn't get our food in a timely manner.Lets start first with me mentioning that our server Megan was nice. Our issues and this 1-star review has nothing to do with her.Tuesday night dinner, walked in, seated right away. Megan came and greeted us almost right away. Took our drink orders. Looked at the menu and ordered steamed mussels. Ordered surf and turf. Steak with their seasoning with grilled shrimp. Corn and broccoli. The Mr. had fish and grits ordered a side of fried okra. This is where the shenanigans begin. All the surrounding tables started getting their apps and food. We sat down well before them. I started thinking to myself, good golly, it's been 45 mins and the mussels hadn't come out yet. If they steam it any longer knowing darn well these mussels come cooked already, they're going to turn into rubber. We didn't track down Megan after 45 mins, but she looked over at us and knew we were frustrated and she came over and immediately said that someone dropped the ball in the kitchen and our order was never even started. But they are doing so right now! Like huh? 45 mins and our food wasn't cooked or anything. For frozen items that aren't fresh, the kitchen really needs to get it together. 45 mins later, the mussels come out. The bread it comes with is stale. The broth for the mussels was sooo sour. Didn't enjoy it. But we did finish majority of it, as now we're getting hungry. After our mussels arrived, it must've been another 15-20 mins and then the steak and fish and grits come out. I can't speak on the grits as the Mr. ordered it and he didn't really finish it. I tried it, and it's gross. Mush. Bland. He did like the fish though. Steak came out cooking to my liking but definitely NOT worth the wait. Not that we had to wait because they forgot to throw it on the stove to begin with. The seasoning that is used is absolutely DISGUSTING. I make better ribeyes in my air fryer with salt & pepper. The ribeye also had a weird taste to it. Honestly, not worth the 29.99 price. Didn't finish the steak. Finished the shrimp. Finished the broccoli. Finished the corn. All frozen foods. They need better quality stuff because this ain't it. We will not be returning and honestly, we should've just kept on driving by. After we left, we were honestly wondering why is the parking so packed! Hopefully they make drinks better than their food.

We were looking for good seafood tonight, and this place did not disappoint! Our server, Troy, is an amazingly attentive and kind soul. It was touching to see how much the regulars love and adore him. We will definitely hope to have him again if we return, which we certainly hope to.My wife ordered the jambalaya, and I had the Orleans pasta. Both dishes were spicy, just as we expected, and we were thrilled with our choices. We started with the fried green tomatoes appetizer, which was truly spectacular, especially the sauce. The Category One Hurricane was a superb drink, adding to our delightful experience. All in all, this place exceeded our expectations. I hope to return for the educator conference at the Johnson Space Center, and if we do, we will be coming back and looking for Troy!

Orleans Bistro & Bar 2204 S. Washington Ave., Titusville, FL 327804.5 StarsArriving at precisely 12:30 PM, I was expecting at least somewhat of a lunch crowd. What I walked into was a ghost town sans the blowing tumbleweeds. As I've said before, an empty place at peak hours does not usually bode well. However, formicating about the bar were a few of Titusville's Finest (wink, wink) so the place wasn't completely void of life.Lliana is our server today. I don't know if it's the fact that this place is bereft of life or the obnoxiously loud music blasting from somewhere, but Lliana moves like she is stuck in quicksand. She performed her waitress duties to a "T"; it just took forever to get there. I asked for an order of Etouffee with Shrimp and some Creole Cheesy Grits with Fish.Thankfully, the quicksand did not seem to extend into the kitchen as my food was out in no time. Snapping the mandatory pics, I got to work. First up on the Big Boy's palate was a forkful of the Etouffee with Shrimp. Etouffee literally means smothered or suffocated giving way to the popular Cajun cooking method of "smothering." It is basically a seafood stew served over rice. The chef nailed this offering of the classic Cajun dish, as I found the flavors to be complex, full-bodied, and downright delicious! The shrimp was undoubtedly not of the fresh variety, but that didn't matter in the least as it was nestled in a sauce of onions, celery, bell peppers and Cajun heat. The Shrimp was tender, succulent and inundated with tastiness. It was all I could do to move on from this delightful dish, but I wasn't here to enjoy myself, so to speak; I had a job to do. To that end, I turned my focus to the Creole Cheesy Grits with Fish. After one taste of this, I knew it was going to be a go-to place when craving food influenced by the swamps of Louisiana. Consisting of yellow stone ground grits, Swiss, provolone, and cheddar cheese topped with bell peppers and Cajun spices. This was a hard-to-beat dish. I would be remiss if I didn't mention the fun, Mardi Gras-themed menu. After all, just like it's always Carnival in Brazil...it's always Mardi Gras in New Orleans! The Big Boy says, "You don't need to bring beads, just your appetite for a tasty tour of Crescent City Cuisine."

Came here to kill some time before the delayed SpaceX launch. Saw that they have gator bites on the menu for $14.99 so got that along with a category 5 hurricane for $10.75. The portion for the gator bites was kinda small but both the sauce and the gator tasted pretty good. Meanwhile, the first 1/3 of the cat 5 hurricane initially tasted like juice to me, but the bottom 2/3 was all alcohol (spiced rum, light rum, dark rum, southern comfort, and 151 floater). It was a strong drink for a great price. All in all I'm happy and would recommend this place if you're around the area and want strong drinks or good food.

Ignore all the bad reviews. Don't know where these people ate but it wasn't here. Food is fantastic and I have been to New Orleans. They are currently having an anniversary celebration and my gumbo and my husband's red beans and rice was only $9 each. Server was very sweet. Service was great. Portions are huge. I took over half of my Gumbo home This is our 3rd time here and won't be the last.
