Orlando Coffee Roasters

I have been buying coffee from Orlando Coffee Roasters for so long. I cannot even remember how many years. But I have known Gus when he first started out I knew him then, and I know the effort that he is put into his product. I know that anytime I go anywhere. I always take my coffee with me when I visit my brother out in California, my brother in South Carolina, I always take my coffee and my burr grinder. They like the coffee and I tell them how they could get that coffee mailed to them. And the variety, I enjoyed it because I can taste these coffees from all over the world. And I enjoy the coffee from Orlando coffee roasters so much, that when I go out to eat, it's very hard for me to drink coffee because, it's just not as good as what I'm used. I do not consider myself a connoisseur of coffee, if I like it, I like. If I don't like it, then, I don't. I don't need an expert to tell me, what my taste buds tell me. I don't buy coffee from anyone but Orlando Coffee Roasters. I even have been known to give these 1 pound bags of coffee beans as gifts to people, who appreciate a good cup of joe!

Friendly and knowledgeable service. A pleasure to stop by, offered to taste coffee they were brewing and discuss, also gave me some to go. It's a little place in the middle of some car mechanic place but great nonetheless. I would definitely return!

Five stars for a large selection of locally roasted organic single origin fair trade coffee (say that twice fast haha). They ship and also have pick up in the Gore st location which is a warehouse surrounded by auto repair shops so it's easy to miss but the guy spotted my I'm lost look and was a great help. Overall, I'll definitely get coffee here again.Pick up was fast and easy, and I've had it shipped for a few bucks as well- occasionally shipping is free with two or more bags. I love the coffee and brew it at home in my ninja but I'm sure it'd be even better as an aeropress or pour over or espresso.

We looked for a local roaster to buy beans/coffee while vacationing in Florida. Yelp steered us here and we almost drove past, which wouldd have been an epiC fail! Hubby saw the signn, looks lIke storage garages but once you walk inside, you smell the most amazing coffee smell! We met Gus, and learned so much about roasting, acidity, the whole process of single origiin coffee roasting. Pretty sure we will be back, a blueberry strawberry coffee was hard to not buy-- but we already had 2 bags! Highly recommenDed! Thank you Gus for your time with a couple from Wisconsin! PS when Gus recoommends a coffee-its a sure thing! We drank the first pot of the Ethipoian blend in less than an hour. Holy moly this coffee is one of tHe top ones we ever tried!

Serendipity brought me to Orlando Coffee Roasters, if the results of a Google search can be classified as such, but nonetheless I found my way to this wonderful place and could not be more pleased. Gus, the owner, and his sister-in-law Ruth, treated me with respect and friendliness during my visit, entertaining me with the various aspects of buying and roasting high quality coffee beans, and I enjoyed every minute of the experience. I purchased a few bags of whole beans and brought them home to Oklahoma. OH MAN! This coffee is good! It's VERY good. I've tried beans from all over the country and have enjoyed some fine selections from Milwaukee, Ft. Worth, and Tulsa, but I promise I've not had any finer than those from Orlando Coffee Roasters. I am thankful I can order from them online as I plan to extend my coffee snobbery for quite some time brewing Gus' exquisite beans.

The coffee is great and service is perfect, they'll help you out with any questions/needs you have, the coffee is super fresh. Only downside is that they dont have any food/pastries but they're not a coffee shop

Can not speak highly enough of this place. I am going to be a loyal customer for a long time. I have been looking for a place to buy green coffee locally for over a year now. I stubbled on this place last night online. Gus who I believe to be the owner was very helpful. He helped me with my selection and recommend roasting temps and levels. Great place. Oh and because of all the roasting they do they place smells like heaven!!!It is very hard to find so I suggest you google map it first, not much signage but don't let that stop you!

Best quality coffee you'll find in Orlando. A great family owned business where you literally get coffee just off the roaster. There's always samples so you can try something new each time.

My mom used to order fresh coffee beans from a friend. She enjoyed it because it was fresh and delicious. When her friend stopped selling the coffee beans she tried different kinds of coffee that never measured up. She was resigned to the fact that she wouldn't be able to make really good coffee at home again. I found Orlando Coffee Roasters' website and called for some info. The phone rang directly to Ruth and she answered all my questions. (So refreshing to talk to a real, knowledgeable person instead of a recording!) She talked me through making an online order. My mother received it 2 days later. She is so pleased! The coffee beans are fresher and even more delicious than the coffee beans she bought from her friend. And buying local is an added bonus! My mom is very picky about her coffee and she is so excited about finding a great place to buy her FRESH ROASTED coffee beans. Thank you Ruth and Orlando Coffee Roasters!
