Orgulla serves satisfying Latin food with friendly excellent service. I ordered a special through a different app. I got enough food in my meal for two possibly three meals. My GPS had me go past this location which is almost directly across the street from Coggin Honda, behind a gas station. After a quick call to the restaurant the owner helped me out.Since he knew I was on the way he had started boxing up my food. The bag was heavy because I got pork and a big juicy piece of baked chicken. The rice was flavorful and had pigeon peas. The beans were thoughtfully placed in a separate small container. I also got fried plantains and chicharrones. My favorite was the beans because they were so flavorful and seemed to be a different bean than I am used to. I ended up preferring the chicken over the pork but both were good. They have a steam table with several choices but offer food by the meal.Once I located the restaurant (they have lots of lights in the front window,) I found the restaurant to be clean and the owner very kind. We chatted about me getting turned around and how close this is to my home.I have frequented similar restaurants closer to the turnpike but I think I have found a new favorite.

I ordered a surprise box of food here through the app too good to go, so I had no idea what I was getting. I paid $4.99 on the app and got all of this food! The chicken was a little dry, but that's to be expected for the end of the day. Otherwise the rest of the stuff was great and the staff was incredibly nice.

Really good food. Wasn't overly salted if that's a concern of yours. Seemed like fresh ingredients and seasoned very nicely. Portions were definitely generous enough. People working here were very nice as well. Recommended.

Pros: food is great, I had the grilled chicken with the yellow rice and a little bit of salad on the top and it was full of taste. I wasn't greeted when I walked in, but soon as I started talking and cracked a joke. Things got a little less awkward, I'm assuming it was maybe what I was wearing. Everything smelled awsome and looked freshly made so I expected it to taste good. Cons: the only problem this place has is the location. Its litterly on a side street behind some crackhead infested motel, wanna be hotel! The place looks a little outdated but the food makes up for it. I also had a confused look because this place doesn't have a name or something, the only thing pulling you in is the LED lights.

We ordered the pork chicharron but it was super dry and the skin very, very hard. I feel it might've been from yesterday just not fresh. Empanadas were good except the cheese one has sliced American cheese, not my favorite. I was hoping for a white queso. The rice and beans were good. I may be back, but probably not.

I give Orgullo Latino restaurant 3 stars. I ordered their famous 3s golpe a dominican dish that consists of mangú (mashed green plantains with red onions), fried egg, fried salami and fried cheese. I must say it was to die for and I definitely recommend it. I also ordered octopus salad which I was really craving but didn't meet my expectations. I was a little bummed. It tasted lemony and the octopus was a little hard to chew.

A little family spot just off of OBT. Great food, awesome price and really nice people! The let us eat in before the restaurant actually opened up! This beats fast food joints and over-priced chain restaurants every day every way. Lo único mejor que la comida es la gente que trabaja allí.

Food is actually good, nice rice and beans ( very latín caribbean) and I love that. Coustermer service is on point. Ladies in the front are really nice. Food is displayed so it's a quick and convenient service. Typical Latin moderated music, it's nice and part of the experience. But for the love of puertorricans and cubans DO NOT ORDER a tripleta or a Cuban sadwich. I can't begin to explain how they do not know what a Cubano and tripleta is. Bread is not authentic nor the pork flavor nor the ham, and a tripleta with steak?? Unless you want to be like churri ( don't do that to the tripla). It's best if you stay away from the sandwiches. As long as you listen to my advice you will have a good time!

Que delicia! The food is homey and actually delicious. The portions are quite large and filling, without the bloating, plus affordable. I'd stop by for lunch breaks or I'd recommend calling ahead to pickup. You can easily feed two people with their platters if you're not super hungry and its less than $10.
