The name says it all. With its harsh overhead fluorescent lights, dated interior and scuffs on booths and walls, this is a restaurant badly in need of a modern makeover. The food belies the shabby surroundings. We loved our burgers and my table mate enjoyed his catfish. Our sever was prompt and efficient. Prices are reasonable.

The food was hot & fresh which is always a plus. Our server Daisy here was excellent and the ambience here is old time diner feel. Sure going to miss this place since we are moving out the area. Trust us it's worth coming by here.

Had breakfast here yesterday and the food was great! The service was a tad bit slow but I think it was because they are short staffed. The prices are decent so that's always a plus. I'll be back to try the lunch menu.

Every time I visited the waitress was so rude discussing customers and her tips. I ordered the Am special 2 eggs toast and hash browns with coffee the bill was 6.30. I gave 1.00 and some change. Then there was a young couple who were with there 2 young children that made a mess At first she told them oh don't worry about it I will clean it up. I guess they left NO tip! She was telling another waitress I hope you put gas in your car because no one was tipping? I will never go there again! I love all the pictures on the wall of the stars but I thought she was a poor waitress to be discussing this when a customer ( me) was still there. The food is nothing to brag about either!

I want to give this place a BIG thanks. We had them cater for Christmas dinner. Service was for 150 people. All the food came in very hot but best of all very tasty. We had enough food for all and more. If you're interested in a cater job no need to look anymore. You have found it... enjoy.

Had the fried oysters, done perfectly in light breading. Waitress was excellent! Remembered all our meals and the acoustics were nice. We could all talk and be heard!

I really wanted to like this place. I am not a Michelin star establishment sort of guy. The cleanliness of the mirrors and bathroom were a real poker tell. The applesauce side came out before the meal with some sort if white gunk in it. Food ? Piece of a towel ? Who knows. The fries and gravy had some distant off taste like rancid water.
