Ocho Rios Jamaican Restaurant

The food is overpriced and not as good as Golden Krust which is right down the road. I ordered a curry goat and another order with Oxtails and there was more rice than meat, the oxtails were tough. The veggie patties however were good and the natural juices were also good. I like how spacious the place is. That might also add to the cost but Golden Krust on the SR 50 down the road just does a better job with quantity and flavor for me.

Authentic Jamaican food.. nice size sit diwn restaurant . Had a delicious curry chickpeas, green banana, cabbage , carrots. Must try if you are looking for Jamaican food . I recommend it!

The service is very friendly. The restaurant is family friendly. The star is the food, everything we ordered was served hot and had lots of flavor-Ochoa Roos chicken, rice and vegetables and the chicken, beef and vegetable Pattie's. We will be back with the rest of the family.

Ordered on Uber Eats,First I want to say how happy I am with their packaging. Everything was saran wrapped! I have no concerns or worries about my driver touching my food or sauce spilling out. Very clean. Good portions as well.I got a large stew of chicken and patties with coco bread. They ran out of coco bread and sent me sweet plantains instead. I love the initiative they took and they attached a cute note about it. Everything was great! Especially my patties, fresh and spicy. I have zero complaints, will be ordering again soon.

Wow wow wow is all I can say. Talk about well seasoned and delicious food. You can always tell when the chef loves what he/she does BEST JAMAICAN FOOD.

Traveled all the way from Philly to try this restaurant, and it was worth the flight! The owners were extremely professional and friendly!

As a true Jamaican I always look for the authentic restaurant. Was on vacation and found this spot. I had the jerk chicken and jerk pork some of the best food I had from a Jamaican restaurant.

Unbelievable! I am not Jamaican but I have been to Jamaica several times and love the food! Also a former New Yorker, so I used to frequent Caribbean eateries in Queens and Brooklyn regularly. I can tell you that this food is more authentic than any other restaurant I have visited.Ordered the small Oxtail (had 6 pieces), rice and peas with a side of plantains. My wife had the shrimp curry (they spice to order). Everything was fantastic and I would have eaten the bones if could have!You have got to try this place! If you have never had Jamaican food before, you will be pleasantly surprised.

The restaurant was clean and the service was mid. The food did not meet my expectations. I ordered and paid for a side of mac n cheese and was later told that they were out and substituted it with ziti pasta with some marinara sauce/cheese . Additionally I asked if they could make my cabbage without veg melody and they did however, it had a curry color to it. Not sure why it looked like curry cabbage, but it did not taste good according to my wife!! I ordered the oxtail plate and it was dry, no gravy pon de rice and the oxtail lacked flavor!!!!! I also ordered plantain and it was mushy and greasy tasting. I'm disappointed because my expectations were not met, money spent, and time wasted!!!!!!!!
