During a business trip to Orlando, we were on the lookout for a nice spot to enjoy a salad for lunch before an event. By chance, we stumbled upon this gem, and we couldn't have been luckier! The outdoor patio offered a wonderful atmosphere with just the right amount of shade on a sunny day. My salad was absolutely perfect! Although I can't recall its name, it featured beets, goat cheese, shredded chicken, arugula, and the most delightful dressing. The portion was so generous that I only managed to eat half for lunch, saving the rest for a tasty snack later.I will definitely return to North Italia the next time I'm in the area!

Rough night here. We had a large party of 16.We arrived at 715pm were seated and didn't leave until around 945/10pm.Unfortunately slow service and the food came out hours later with some dishes missing, cold grilled chicken and a few dishes uneatable. The appetizers took an hour to get and the main dishes even longer. Two servers one was gone most of the time. We have hosted the California locations and no issues. Manager didn't come over initially and check in come to find out they've had recently lost a few cooks. We had to get up and walk and find the manager to get the missing food. Drink refills were not happening. The one waitress did at the end apologize and shared the info on the staff turnover. She was super gracious. So as a friend said it's how you finish. This three hour tour of Italy in Orlando unfortunately fell flat.

My bf and I went here for Valentine's Day and were underwhelmed by our dinner. I got seared scallops and he got tortellini. We paid $70 each for a 3-course meal. I think it would've been more worth it had we gone on a regular day. Also, the wait for our food was probably longer because of Vday. If it'd tasted fantastic, I would've been more forgiving. However, the lobster and crab cake bruschetta tasted kind of like tuna from the can with cream, and the seared scallops were a little too burned and tasted heavily of garlic. It was also a pretty small portion. Our desserts looked like they came out of a microwaveable cake tin, and tasted like it too.For $140 plus tax and tip, I would've expected better. The restaurant was clean and comfortable, and our server was accommodating. Everything else was meh. It's one tier below Olive Garden for me.

The food was good but not excellent, the service was subpar, and the decor was trendy and fun. We had a family dinner with our teens and we walked in and were seated immediately. We started with the yellowtail crudo, meatball appetizer and the grilled bread. The meatballs were filled with flavor but the bread was chewy and charred a bit. In my opinion it was not worth the money and bread service should be complimentary at a restaurant with this price point. The tuna was delicious! Our second course was an arugula and avocado salad, do not recommend. The dressing was flavorless and the salad was lackluster. The lentil soup was good and packed with veggies! My husband and I ordered specials, the kids split the chicken parm with Alfredo over rigatoni. My shrimp and lobster pasta special with lemon sauce was not good. The sauce was flavorless and the seafood had a strong seafood smell, I was not impressed especially for the $$$. The osso buco special was absolutely delicious and cooked to perfection. Highly recommend! Once our server took our order I felt like her job was done. We waited a long time for drink refills and once a course was dropped by a runner she did not return to check on us.Over all the experience was good but not great. I'm sure there are other amazing Italian restaurants in the area that we'll try next time we travel to Orlando.

I was extremely impressed with North Italia! I stumbled upon this American modern Italian restaurant because my husband is obsessed with Italian Grinders. It turns out not only do they have an excellent Italian Grinder with fries, but the kitchen was kind enough to let us order it even though we accidentally showed up during brunch hour and not lunch hour. The sandwich was extremely flavorful, packed with meat, and had a delicious sauce on it. The fries were also very crisp and fresh. I also loved the simple modern decor as it had furniture that was more solid and seemed to be able to absorb sound better compared to other restaurants. There was a large group having brunch about two tables away from us and it was not bothersome at all.I was watching the bartender while we were there and wishing that we had come for dinner rather than lunch -- that is my only regret. Our server mentioned that they have excellent espresso martinis and old fashioned, which are our two favorite drinks as a couple.

My daughter and I had a great experience here at North Italia. It was a busy night and was happy that we were able to grab a table. Our server was attentive and nice. Our food was fantastic. The meat balls were on a bed of polenta which was delicious. I'm normally not a huge fan of meat balls but these are spectacular. My main course was so good that even a picky eater at home finished it. The restaurant was busy, a little noisy, but that's expected for the day/time we were there.

This wasn't my best experience out in a while, to say the least. I had joined a group of friends for a birthday dinner, and we were there much longer than expected.I got there late (I was the last to walk in), and they still hadn't gotten their drinks even though I told them to order without me. When we did all order drinks they took a while, but since we all work in the Hospitality industry, we tried not to take too much notice of it. Then, we waited AT LEAST 30 minutes to have our dinner order taken, and for the appetizer we ordered at the same time as the drinks. The server said he was waiting for the last two in our party to show up before taking our order, but we had communicated to the host at the front that those two were not coming, so we waited for nothing. Even as a server myself, I would've asked if the rest of the party was ready to order, instead of assuming we were not or that we were waiting for other people that had no intention of coming. While we tried to dub this as a misunderstanding and continue our time, our food came out a few dishes at a time, with plenty of space inbetween, and we were missing a couple of sides when everything had finally been sent out. When we finally got our food, my experience was lackluster. There were a couple dishes on the table that I tried and loved (i.e. the Braised Short Rib Marsala, which was sooooo delicious), but the portion sizes were small for the price in my and my friends' opinions, and the dish I got (Trottle Chicken Pesto) lacked flavor. One friend got the Spicy Rigatoni Vodka pasta, and it was undercooked and had to be refired. One thing this place did exceptionally well was the atmosphere/ambiance. The art on the walls, the open floorplan, plants everywhere, were a win. My friends and I kept commenting about how nice the decor and the vibe of the place was. All in all I would come back here again if I knew the service AND food would be better.

First review of 2025!!! Thank you North Italia for taking care of me tonight and my family and our gluten allergy. I really loved that you took time to make us a flat bread to dip in the olive oil. I loved the pizza and pasta. It's so good so hard to belive it's gluten free. Outdoor seating is amazing mainly with the heaters on. This is for sure our go to spot whenever we want some great Italian foodThanks again for making the first of the new year amazing.

North Italia has been on my list for a while. The decor and ambiance are pretty and intimate. The weather has been beautiful so we opted to sit outside. The burrata was my favorite. Ask for extra grilled bread when you order. It's so good. We ordered three pasta dishes and all of us felt they were bland. We asked for salt, pepper and Parmesan cheese to flavor the dishes. The kids chicken was nicely breaded and looked delicious. However, it was also bland. Service was relaxed and there was no sense of urgency when requesting items or ordering additional dishes.
