Nora's Sugar Shack

Nora's Sugar Shack is a great way to spend an afternoon or evening if you like great beer and good cigars. I have been here about 3 times on my visits to Orlando, and every time is a good time. This past Saturday I was doing my own personal beer crawl and Nora's was one of the stops on my route. Nora's tucked me into the rabbit hole with a bunch of friendly character, great retro music and some really good conversations with people ai have never met before. I would have stayed longer, but the pub crawl people starred showing up which really changed the vibe. Still though, I had a wonderful time and I am going to try to make this one of my stops whenever I am in the area.Just a note if you smoke cigars and bring your own, the is a $5 cutting fee. I like to smoke my own, but will buy a cigar from Nora in lieu of the cutting fee.

Nora's is an amazing spot and I'm happy I got to hit it up before relocating to Baltimore. I'm sad I didn't go sooner! This is an awesome local spot that has a great selection of beer and wine. The inside is eclectic and cool and they have a nice patio area as well. The best part of this spot is Nora! I truly felt like I was welcomed and loved her sweet and sassy personality. She is super fun. We enjoyed exploring the inside and enjoying our beers on the patio. If you've never been here, make it a point to check it out! I'll definitely be coming back when visiting home.

Nora is by far the best human on this planet. Not only do we love this spot because it's a "come as you are" type of vibe, very low-key and has a great lineup up various wines, beers, and seltzers groun around the world, but if you come here, you're family. There's nothing like this spot.

Nora's is the real Orlando. This neighborhood gem not only is a relaxing hang out, a bottle shop for a great selection of beer and wine but it is hosted by Nora herself and she is absolutely delightful. Support local - go to your local dive bar.

I have driven by Nora's so many times and thought this was just a walk in store. I walked over after having dinner at Santiago's Bodega (literally less than 1 min walk) and was shocked to find that this is a legit hangout. We walked thru the side gate and was greeted by one of the rescue dogs, immediate plus! =) Nora came out and knew we were newbies and greeted us to come in grab a beer and hangout. This is an actual house turned beer, wine and cigar shop in a home setting with sofa's and tables inside and out on the patio. She had my favorite Kentucky Bourbon Ale beer and we sat around and talked to Nora and the locals. I also wanted to buy a bottle of Cabernet and went into the wine room. She asked what I like to drink and handpicked the Hillside Juggernaut Cab which was exactly the type of wine I was looking for. We need more places like Nora's where you can kick back and relax and not spend a fortune while you're out. This is a humble spot that is celebrating 17 years soon. I will definitely be bringing friends here b/c this truly a special place that needs local support!

Finally came in here after walking by it so many times. We literally walked into someone's living room when entering. Great selection of beer! After we were done with our beers, we went back to the kitchen and crushed our cans. Nora welcomed us and thanked us for coming. We'll definitely be back!!

A unique fun fun fun experience! Nothing else like it in town. Amazing service and I've never met a stranger there. Chill vibes, great beer wine cigars, fun conversation ... visit Nora's and make a new friend or two! Think I'll make over tomorrow!

My boyfriend found a movie night hosted at Nora's Sugar Shack on a Saturday night. We decided to attend for our date night. Nora's does not serve food but we were able to get take out somewhere and bring it over to eat. Nora's is very cozy. She has tables in the back. During movie night she gives you a bucket and you go inside and look over your beer, cider, or wine options and write them down and give it to her. She will bring you the bucket. We ate our take out while she was setting up for the movie to start. You bring your own chairs. It was a great event. Only thing is there are A LOT of mosquitos so bring your bug spray. Nora is quite a character and awesome. I'd like to visit again on a non outdoor movie night!

Nora is great and super outgoing. Great conversations and beer! The service is second to none. Keep supporting your local businesses!
