This is Animal Kingdom's gem! Second time my husband and I have made it a priority to enjoy a little bite to eat and delicious drinks on the outside patio. It's right along the water front and so beautiful and calming. We walked right up as it opened and were able to get seated immediately. I opted for a cocktail and the sliders. Cocktail was refreshing and the sliders were a great source of fuel. I wouldn't order them again, but they tasted just fine! The Yuca fries were nice and crispy but sitting in a curry spiced oil that I didn't care for. Our waiter was very sweet and gave me a to-go container for my mocktail so I could finish enjoying it while walking through the park. If you have time to kick up your feet at Animal Kingdom - visit this lounge!!

The churros were really good as well as the cappuccino but service was bad.Even if the waitress was incredibly kind and friendly, the service was really slow. We waited more than 20 min to be served. Great atmosphere to seat down and relax though

Nomad used to be our favorite restaurant to visit. The food , service, and ambiance were outstanding. The last two visits the service was poor and the food while good was not up to their previous standards. On the positives the chicken wings were excellent on our most recent visit. But it took 45 minutes from being seated until we received our food. We had servers bring over orders meant for other tables twice. It took quite awhile to receive water, and the wine we ordered when seated took 20 minutes to arrive. We received the wrong drink for the kids meal which is not a big deal but it took two reminders and over 10 minutes to fix. The server was nice and also gave us a comped app, but really I just want a Disney quality meal and service not a comp. The host had mentioned outdoor table took a long time to become available. I think I know why if others have the same experience. On our visit before this we sat at the bar and the food we did receive was excellent but we didn't receive everything we ordered. And the bartender just dropped off the food and never checked back for 30 minutes afterwards. He was off to the side talking with other cast members and we were unable to make eye contact to flag him down or call him over. We finally had to leave for a lightning lane. After asking the host to get him he offered to get the appetizer which had been made and sitting out to be brought to the table to go. It isn't like you could eat what we ordered out of box while in line. They comped our drinks which was nice but I don't want a comp. Mistakes are fine just fix them in a reasonably timely manner. This really seems like a training and management issue. And not looking at the data from their POS system. We've had a number of outstanding experiences at Nomad and but the last two were not good. Hopefully they can return to their previously excellent service.

Our family went back to Animal Kingdom again this year, after a cruise. Nomad Lounge is hands down still incredibly delicious and consistent with their quality. Instead of being seated indoors, we actually were outside on the patio by the lagoon. The seating area was plush and intimate.Service was slower than I remember. Our server seemed to be stretched over a large amount of our outdoor area.Overall, the various international food items and libations never disappoint. Will always return here any opportunity I get!

Love this little lounge in Animal Kingdom. We went on a Sunday and there was an hour wait. There were two seats at the bar but there were three of us so we waited for a table. Nice variety of specialty cocktails and a full bar, so you can order off menu. The tapas menu is nice with good variety. I was just sad the Mac and cheese was not on the menu but it's understandable that they rotate items. We absolutely loved the wings and the s'mores martini was sweet but yummy! Service was efficient but our waitress was not very friendly. Not your typical vibe for Disney. Everything else was great.

A relaxing place to stop during your busy day at animal kingdom. Nice drinks and a good variety of flavors presented in their bread bowl and charcuterie platter. Wings were fire!!Prices were average for a Disney sit down restaurant

Nomad Lounge is still the best place in the parks to catch a drink and some light snacks. We were able to get straight to a table since we waited for it to open at 10:30. It's also the best way to get a table outside by the river. The bread service and churros are still up there as some of the best in Walt Disney World. The drinks are also very good too. I got the Night Monkey and my wife the Lamu Libation. Both tasted well balance with good amounts of rum and guava flavor.Even if you don't get in immediately, its worth the wait! Just let them text you and you can still go around the park.

We came here for the GF churros and stayed for a great meal! There was room at the bar when we came in for to go churros, and the bartender was very nice and inviting, giving us great suggestions. The poke bowl was amazing--plenty of flavor (I asked for extra sauce and got more than I could use!). The wings were great too--very crispy but not at all burnt. They had a good amount of oil, so I could only do one as I didn't want too many before walking the rest of the day.The churros were the best we've had--the perfect texture! Not too crunchy, and slightly chewy in the middle compared to most. The dipping sauces were also extremely rich and flavorful. The ambiance was relaxed and cool--a great break to take an hour in the low light to eat and drink. Although we didn't have cocktails, the mocktails we had were soo refreshing and totally worth getting!I highly recommend taking the time to stop in if you have it.

Honestly, a little conflicted about Nomad Lounge after all the great reviews. There were some items that were excellent and others that were very mediocre for the price. Got the Lamu Libation which tasted like a Mai Thai - sweet and strong. The bread service was really interesting with the three spreads/dipping sauces. My favorite was mochi texture bread with the guava sauce. The churros were also fabulous! It was fresh, light, and even with the sauce (vanilla cream and chocolate) it was not overly sweet. One order comes with 5 pieces and was quickly gone. The mushroom bao was also an honorable mention- savory mushroom with sweet and tangy slaw on a soft bao bun. Did not care for the pork belly or the Cuban sliders. The sliders were dry and the taste was not great. The yuca fries were ok. The pork belly was very small for the price and just didn't taste great. We had the kids chicken nuggets and fries too- cheapest option here to feed the kiddos. Overall for the price felt like Yak and Yeti was a better option. I would go back maybe just for drinks and churros but would not wait in line for them.
