I've only ever ordered takeout at this place but for sushi it's pretty decent. When I went to pickup my order I ordered a party platter for a family dinner and it was made quickly and played beautifully. I also ordered a pad Thai on the side and was disappointed by the taste of the pad Thai. It really lacked the Thai flavor and just tasted like plain noodles. I would recommend this place for sushi only and not for pad thai. I like that they have sushi platters which makes it easy for parties and dinners. I'll have to try this place in person in the future.

This hidden gem in Ocala has become one of our favorite sushi spots. They are always friendly when entering and do their best to seat us as quickly as possible. The location is very small so on busy evenings you may wait a short bit for a table. My boyfriend and I decided to stop in after a long day of errands and shopping. This was his first visit as I had eaten here before, and he was very impressed with everything we ordered. One thing that sets them apart is that they bring out fried won ton "chips" with a fantastic dip as a complementary appetizer while you wait for your order. My boyfriend loved these so much he asked if we could have a second basket which they cheerfully brought us. We ordered the Ninja roll, Super Mario roll, Silver Springs roll and a Kobe roll. All our rolls tasted fresh and uniquely flavored. Our favorites were the Ninja and Kobe. They also were offering Sea Urchin Sashimi. My boyfriend splurged and ordered one piece to try. I wasn't feeling brave enough but he said it was pretty good. We enjoyed our dining experience and will be returning. Prices were decent for sushi with our most expensive one being the Ninja roll at $19. But this roll had king crab and lobster in it so we felt it was priced well according to how elaborate it was. We highly recommend if you are in the area that you give Ninja Sushi and Thai a try.

Ninja Sushi & Thai is a hidden gem in Ocala that has quickly become one of my go-to spots for dinner. I stumbled upon it by chance while searching for sushi options, which are somewhat limited in this area. The restaurant is small, but cozy featuring both booth and bar seating, and the staff are incredibly sweet, offering prompt and friendly service. A delightful touch is the complimentary wonton chips with their homemade sweet and sour sauce, which are absolutely delicious.Having tried many dishes on the menu, I always make sure to include a sushi roll with my entree. The portions are generous, and my favorite rolls are the Ginza and Tokyo. When I'm in the mood for sashimi, the chirashi bowl is my top choice, always fresh and satisfying. For those not craving sushi, any of the bento boxes, hibachi meals, pad thai, and General Tso's chicken are flavorful and excellent alternatives. The lunch hibachi is a fantastic deal, including soup, salad, fried rice, and noodles at a great price. Though I hesitate to spread the word, fearing it might become too popular and harder to get a seat, Ninja Sushi & Thai truly deserves the recognition for offering some of the best sushi in Ocala.

The fish was very fresh, the service was attentive and friendly, and the atmosphere was a little on the quiet/dull side but clean and comfortable. This is our second time here. We were late arriving but the staff had zero problems feeding us (and feeding us well!) we had hibachi this time and red curry. The hibachi steak was cooked to perfection and the food was delicious. Service was on point and the restaurant (and bathrooms) were super clean. We really enjoy this place!

A friend and I stopped here while we were in town for a late lunch! The food and service were excellent! For starters, not pictured was the pork gyoza steamed and edamame. For entrees I had the Maki B sushi combo which was delicious and included tuna, yellowtail, and California roll. My combo came with a side salad and miso soup. My friend had the tofu pad Thai which she said was very good! The ambiance was chill and cute. Overall, great experience! I would definitely recommend checking them out!

Great food and service. Sushi was fresh and portions were great value for the price. The restaurant is small so if you have a larger party you might want to call ahead to ensure seating. Will definitely go back.

We managed to get in there on a weekday for lunch and we were the only customers, so the service was very attentive but the food wasn't fresh, it looked and tasted like it was leftover from the night before. Not going back.

I created this roll and Joy was nice enough to put it on the menu. I am a little biased but I feel it's the perfect roll. It's a meal. Protein, Vegetable, Salad, Fruit, Spice all in one. Plus I think I should get a Dollar every time they sell one!!!
