This is a great local place to get delicious home cooking. Plain and simple. It made me so happy. The ramen we had was delicious and so was the bulgogi. (Some of the best kimchi I've ever had!) The atmosphere was super fun and reminded me of being in Seoul. The woman who took our order and served us (I think the owner) was so kind. I can't wait to go back!! Great food. Great people. Go enjoy something delicious!!

I discovered this little spot not too long ago one day when I was searching for a ramen spot that I could walk to from where I work in the Downtown area. Located in Cobb Plaza, Nifty's Korean BBQ & Ramen is definitely a decent little spot to visit if you have any cravings for ramen (or Koren BBQ - which sadly, I cannot speak to, as I have yet to try their BBQ). I typically take a later lunch - to avoid the lunch rush crowds - especially when I opt to eat in the downtown area. So, I was quite happy to learn that Nifty's Korean BBQ & Ramen wasn't too too busy after the lunch rush hours. I was able to get my order in a timely manner and even with being a bit late to picking up my to-go order, it was still piping hot! The staff are kind. The restaurant décor is filled with cultural mementos that adds a nice charm to it. Beyond that, décor is quite basic. Just your standard seating and tables. It is a smaller restaurant, but it can seat a good number of people if need be. As noted, it is in Cobb Plaza, so it is not the only restaurant in that plaza. There are a few restaurants all throughout the plaza and in downtown Orlando in general. As far as the food goes, I do enjoy their ramen. They are not my favorite ramen spot by any means, but they definitely have a decent selection of ramen. It is flavorful and you can customize it to some degree. I think you can probably customize a bit more in the restaurant, more so than you can via their online ordering system, but I cannot be totally sure of that as I've only ever ordered online. Now, what really stands out is their pricing. They are so affordable in comparison to some other more popular ramen spots. Again, as noted, the food is served nice and hot, and the portion size is HUGE! I usually take a good two - three days to finish one ramen bowl pending how hungry I am for that day. Anyways, it is a nice spot! I've only had their ramen. So, I cannot speak about the other items they offer. Pay them a visit if you happen to be in the downtown area and are craving some ramen!

A great local find from my birthday. I wanted to try something new for my birthday and found this hidden gem in downtown Orlando. The owner was very welcoming and funny. Nifty's has been open for about 7 years and offers a great variety of Korean dishes. I ordered a soup and the portion was very large that I was unable to finish it. There was a huge portion of rice and soup that was offered and plenty of protein in the soup. The customer service was great. The owner had many suggestions and I can't wait to come back to try their other homemade dishes. Though the only downside of visiting is paying for parking, I am more than willing to come back. The mom and pop store offers a great spot to grab a quick bite and relax in the middle of the city.

I work in a nearby building so have came here a few times and have had a pleasant experience each time. The lady working there is super nice and friendly, and the ramen is always a nice portion. My favorite ramen is a sweet and spicy creamy broth with bulgogi meat, so tasty. I would definitely recommend this spot.

Bad Service. Food not authentic. Food tasted like microwave food. That fat old lady (looks like owner/not sure if korean) gave terrible service. Taking too long to finish the food.

First visit, selected since it had a large menu and quick service. I enjoyed the Ramen & Mandu, very large portion. I wasn't too hungry and just wanted the Mandu appetizer, but it listed that appetizers were only available with entree purchase. Since my friend & I ordered separately, I didn't want to be that person. Convenient location , I will definitely be back with my appetite.

I'm going to be generous and give this place 4*, despite not being fully satisfied with my bento box.My generosity stems from the fact that I was charmed by the kitschy, rather over-decorated, intimate vibe of the store (sensory overload notwithstanding) and the warmth and friendliness of the owner-operator.As for the bento box, I found the chicken quite dry and overcooked, the side of sauteed veg a little overdone and greasy, and everything rather salty. I'll return, but will try something else when I do.

Between the friendly service and home like ambience. This is a wonderful spot to come and get a quick bite or on a first date. The food for the flavor on abundance of items on the menu and very kind polite and friendly lady. That I believe is co owner. I would highly recommend this place if you are downtown in Orlando. It is tucked away inside one of the movie theater on the first floor but it is most definitely worth the drive. And experience. The ramen and bowls are fire!!
