We went for the Saturday night seafood buffet, after calling the restaurant to go over their COVID precautions. We were satisfied with the measures they were taking to prevent the spread of COVID and were told the only change in their food was the limit for snow crab legs ( which was reasonable enough for us since my husband doesn't eat them so I would get both portions). We did not browse the buffet before we were seated to begin eating (as we have ate here many times and always enjoyed). That was a big mistake. We were disappointed in food selection. The food now was mostly sides of inexpensive carbs such as potatoes, rice, maca and cheese, bread and pasta salads. The seafood consisted of some sushi rolls (which all had a heavy amount of cream cheese in them as fillers), peel and eat cold shrimp, dried cold tuna of some sort, some rule if broiled fish, fried fish and mussels. And if course the serving of crab legs. They did have the prime rib which was decent, however, the serving my husband had consisted of half fat and half prime rib. The food we got was cold and cafeteria type taste. I could go on and on; but overall this was an awful experience and we needed up leaving; after only tasting a few of the items. The manager was apologetic; however, he did tell us the quality was the same, which we clearly identified was not. We did end up leaving and did not pay (as we really didn't have eat). Overall - the price is the same, the food selections are not great and the food was cold. Another reason we left was the service wasn't great. We got up to look at buffet and our waitress cleared our table of drinks, and everything on it. When we did bring a few food items back we then had to get new drinks, silverware, etc. - while our food got colder. We will not return and would hope that in the future they would be able to return to the same quality and elections they had before. They really should close down their seafood night and just serve from a menu.

This was our first time going to their regular buffet.Unless there was a different entrance that we were not aware of, we came in just a few feet in front of the dessert station. I thought it was an odd placement. The staff was wonderful and friendly, and are server, Carla, was an absolute darling and very attentive. She was very friendly and came back to check on us often. Our table was right next to the bar, which was a bit noisy. However, the view of the golf course and pond was lovely. The selection of food was varied -- enough for everyone, including salad, sushi, smoked salmon, potatoes, vegetables, oysters Rockefeller, cod, other types of fish, homemade cornbread, BBQ chicken, and pork. There are two things I would like to note: the peel and eat shrimp were not up to par on this particular evening. They were difficult to peel and very dry.The prime rib, although good, could have been better. It was a bit dry but not completely intolerable. If you love sweets, the dessert table is where you want to be. They had a little bit of everything from make your own ice cream sundae to cheesecake, chocolate pudding, cookies, bread pudding, and other more unique offerings. At some point, we will give it another try as we feel this might have been an off night as far as the quality of some of the food was concerned.Non-alcoholic drinks are covered in the fixed price.I ordered a glass of Moscato -- everything else was non-alcoholic.Dinner for two including tax and gratuity came to $125.It should be noted that they do take COVID precautions. A gentleman was by the buffet handing out gloves to diners so they would not handle the serving utensils with their bare hands.

If my first visit here is any indication of how they conduct their lunch service I'm all in. Although the restaurant was mostly filled a little before 1:00 PM on a recent Friday, the hostess was able to seat us right away without a wait. The dining room with its large widows provides a great view of the course, I especially like that there's a tee box close by so you'll be entertained while enjoying one of their wonderful sandwiches or fresh made salads. I highly recommend the Italian Club Melt or the Reuben both are pretty special. The service here today was nothing short of spectacular, very polite, very professional and the food was delivered fresh and hot. Overall this is beautiful setting and a very comfortable venue... oh yes full bar.

We went last night. Never again. They opened at 5, our reservation was for 5. They were not ready and we all agreed that Golden Corral would have been a much better choice a lot of the foods were not labeled and were not that good. For 7 of us, the bill was $325.00. We had ribeye at home the night before that and it was a much better meal at a fraction of the price. NEVER AGAIN!!

They have a decent sized parking full of trees. When you walk into the clubhouse there are several tables and chairs and a golf shop to your right. There is a hosta stand to your left to check out. Many of the tables in the restaurant have a nice view of the water. Service was excellent. They continuously check on you and refill your drinks, which is a plus. The type of food offered to here is more like bar food and sandwiches. I had the Angus burger, which was perfectly cooked and seasoned. For an up charge I added bacon, which was cooked perfectly and nice and thick.. It came with a side salad which was decent. My fiancé had the turkey bacon and provolone cheese sandwich on marble rye with house made chips. There was a good amount of meat on his sandwich. He also added bacon, which was thick. His homemade chips were thick and crunchy and seasoned with old bay. Overall, we had a nice experience and thoroughly enjoyed our lunch.

After years of anticipating the Saturday night prime rib, crab claws and sushi buffet I was deeply disappointed. NO crab claws unless you pay aka carts, tough no flavor prime rib and only3 sushi choices that were dried out. Worst buffet ever and for two people with no liquor it was $100. Not sure if Covid is the cause but that shouldn't affect quality or taste. Clearly something has gone wrong. Better food at Golden Coral buffet, that's how bad it was. Did stop at Yalaha Bakery on the way--that was good.

We came for the prime rib on the Saturday buffet and it was under seasoned and chewy. Soup was cold. The menu said they offered pasta, but it was lobster Mac and cheese, so for kids there were no options for dinner. Outside of the beef and ham there are two dishes that don't include seafood. The ice cream, hot fudge, and rolls were spot on, for $70/person.

After a wonderful round of golf on El Campeon, we were ready to enjoy some cocktails and apps. We were seated right away. Only a few tables were taken. Yet, for nearly 15 minutes we waited and no one asked us if we wanted to order, brought us water -- nothing. Three servers were very near us, clearing tables and resetting them, asking the table next to us if they would like dessert. We made eye contact yet no one approached. So we ended up leaving. This was around 3:30 Sunday, Jan 14. One server was a man in a beard and another a girl with braids. So odd because we are normal folks and excellent tippers. I'll leave reviews on TripAdvisor also.
