Nexus Pizza

My family and I are originally from New York and appreciate a good New York style pizza place. Nexus Pizza did not disappoint! The pizza was excellent. The best we've had in the Orlando area. The owner, Mario took time to chat with us and tell us about his pizza.

I think I reviewed this place before but it's worth another. I'm a regular customer. They probably recognize me by now. Service is at the counter. You can order pizza by the slice as well as whole pizzas. The atmosphere varies depending on how busy they are. Today, it's pretty chill. They were playing downtempo house.Decor is pleasant and isn't designed to encourage people to grab their food and GTFO. It's a bad fast food trend to help with turnover. Turnover doesn't seem to be a problem these days for any restaurant. Getting people in seats is a good thing.This place is a nice departure from delivery only pizza shops. People are allowed to enjoy their food and have a conversation. This seems to be a place for group office lunches. We need more public places where people to meet and gather.Their pizza needs more attention. Dave Portnoy should visit here and do a pizza review. Crust is crunchy like a cracker. The snap of the crust gives me ASMR vibes. I've seen some unusual combinations and toppings like ravioli. I keep coming back to try different combos. The sides are good too. They need to bring back the Italian beignets.

Solid pizza joint! This time around ordered their lunch special, two slices and a can of soda for $9.99 plus tax. My favorite was the white pizza with tomato and spinach. It had this smoky flavor that was delicious! My only criticism would be the pizzas were quite salty (almost too much) and over baked. The crust wasn't fluffy but anymore baked, it'd be cracker like.

Pizza by the slice? Count me in ! Nestled in a busy plaza, this pizza spot serves the freshest pizza by slice I've had thus far. We tried:Margherita Pesto Pepperoni Supreme Chicken Buffalo The crust was perfectly made and there was a perfect sauce/cheese ratio. I definitely think you should give it a try for a quick lunch or an afternoon snack. Carlos, the owner was also very hospitable and kind! I would definitely return.

We've come time and time again, and we still find ourselves enjoying every bit of the experience. The employees are incredible, and we consider them close friends. The pizza comes out fast and delicious! Highly recommend you and your family to try their pizza !

Love at first bite. Crust sauce cheese and toppings are all excellent. Cooked to perfection. Nice clean restaurant where you order at the counter. I had a piece of carrot cake for dessert. Fabulous. My only suggestion would be to make a 12 inch option as it's a big gap from 10 to 16 inches as pizza size options.

Not too bad. Thin crust was pretty thin. Box was super light, but tasted great. Order was correct and was delivered quickly.

I've been coming to this spot for a very long time. I usually get my pedicure next door every month and as a treat I buy my daughter and I mozzys well that's what I call them. However they're just mozzarella sticks I have had their pizza too and it's delicious. The location is always clean and the staff is so friendly as well as the owner.

This spot is amazing! The ambiance is chill, and the staff is super friendly. The pizza is fantastic -- crisp, thin crust with the perfect balance of sauce and cheese. You can tell they use fresh ingredients, and every slice hits the spot. It's my go-to for a quick, satisfying meal. Highly recommend if you're craving New York-style pizza.

Great pizza, friendly staff. I give 4 stars because I wish they had fountain drinks. Other than that I would recommend this place.
