New York Deli

This little deli is a few minutes from my workplace in DTO. Everything is natural and our salads were delicious. They even have coconut water, yummm. The staff were really courteous and serviceable. The ambiance is very casual. I was impressed by their prices. The only thing I didn't like was that I got the Southwestern Chicken Salad and they did not have southwest dressing in their dressings selection.They are on Orange Ave, between Church St and Jackson Ave.

Just visiting the area and saw this place while my partner and I were walking around Orlando on Sunday evening. Decided to pop in on Monday when they opened as we love these little delis. I got the Philly steak omelet which came with steak, peppers, onions, and mushrooms. He got scrambled eggs with Turkey sausage and grits. The omelet was good, but it seemed that the ingredients were just placed in a cooked egg instead of lightly mixed in so it was hard to have egg with the omelet fix-ins. Turkey sausage was reported to be dry, but everything else was good. The staff was nice and efficient too. There's seating inside, but very limited. More of a place for workers in the building to grab lunch and head back to the office.Would recommend visiting this deli!

New York Deli is a surprise in Downtown Orlando - they have a pretty significant menu, rotating soups, and excellent service. On a busy weekday, at lunch, they were able to speed through orders, prepare everything fresh, and not keep people waiting. I enjoyed my chicken salad sandwich on a croissant, which was an awesome recommendation from the team. When I go back, I'll definitely try something new to see how it compares.

Fast and easy service! Delicious food! I checked out New York deli for my lunch break and I will definitely be back! The food was delicious. I ordered the chicken noodle soup and Ruben sandwich, which in total was about $14. It was ready in about 5 minutes (which is nice if you only have time to grab food and head back to the office). I was able to eat in the shop and before I left they asked me how everything tasted and told me to have a great day! If you're in downtown Orlando and need to stop for a quick bite to eat I definitely recommend New York deli! Pro tip: parking is bad downtown so I wouldn't come here specifically to eat, but if you're already in the area!

Proudly placed Yelp certificates are first seen as you step up to the friendly face at the register. Certificates stating people on Yelp love them and have for years. As I held my conversation with the server I was happily given a quick menu tour of regular and specials of the days. I choose the Rueben and said yes to the pickle and continued to hear about their fresh in house made products and Boars Head meats and knew this place had a Heart for the people and understood my food order was in good hands. I thanked him and took my order to go to my destination and I enjoyed a nice sized warm and delicious rueben that would diffently leaving me to have that again someday and also having the experience of great people I met at NYD.

Hands down best breakfast sandwich and customer service I have been given since ordering a breakfast sandwich. Lots of regulars go here and their competitor is a giant corp of Dunkin' donuts next door. Although that is there, they still have their own line of familiar faces ordering from them and staying around to chat. I love that feeling and that is why I come here as much as I can.

Lovely deli with delicious food and unprecedented customer service!!!I stopped in for a breakfast sandwich and was warmly greeted by the friendly staff. As I waited briefly for my food to be freshly prepared, I noticed the staff greeting nearly everyone BY NAME. I enjoyed my sandwich so much that I went back the next day. Ryan welcomed me back because heremembered me from the previous morning, and he also remembered my order - even though I had only been there once before. I came back each morning that I was in town on business. If I return to Orlando, I would absolutely visit again.

Eat here. I've gone at least six times. This place consistently puts out the best sandwiches in downtown. The Cuban is particularly good. The owner and family are genuine people, absolutely dripping with sincerity and care for what they do. The customer service is unmatched - they remember you and your order and it's a touch of comfort in an otherwise increasingly isolated world. The dining area could use some updating but I don't mind it in light of the positives.
