Decided to give it a try as my neighbor raved about it. I should have passed as this was coming from a guy who thinks Totinos pizza rolls taste like New York pizza. Well nonetheless I tried it and I specifically asked for more sauce as the pizza had what looked to be a light spray coating of sauce, kinda like a cheap MACCO paint special. Well got the pizza home and we started to eat. The critique began.I took a bite and let the flavors dance. Only there was no dance it was a combination of charred dough and what seemed like extremely salty cheese and sauce. what sauce? Anyways the pizza was a train wreck. If I had to sum it up into something it would be as if you were biting into disc of nothing but salt and salt with a hint of charred dough. Its obvious the money they make is not going into the quality of ingredients. I think the people that rave about this place are friends and family as anyone who grew up around good New York Pizza would give a review similar, if not worse than mine. Try making a good sauce without 500 pounds of salt and cheese thats not one ingredient away from being plastic. Also clean your ovens makes a big difference. Also, Gira la pizza means spin the pie instead of it laying in the same spot. I will give an A+ for the box as it was nicely made.
