Nantucket Shrimp Shack

Dec '24 update - I contacted them via Facebook and was very sad to get the email that they will not reopen. We were looking forward to them coming back better than ever but I guess this won't be happening. They had the best clam chowder and fried shrimp!

Overall: Looks can be deceiving but great food at a great price. Ambiance: The parking spaces are right in front of a hotel. We were unsure if we could park there. The outside isn't very nice to look and inside definitely doesn't look very nice either. It looks oily, and could use a renovation. Service: Amazing! We got our food pretty quickly and seated quickly because there weren't many folks there. Food: Great! I went with my family. My brother and I liked the food. My mom did not. She got a rice dish (which fyi do not get it if they are better known for fried things). The portion size was great! The water did not taste great to me so I ended up asking for a soda. I would go again but I hope they do some renovation.

We were looking for a light meal and this was perfect! Not crowded and service was friendly. They were generous enough to split the Alfredo meal into two meals for our two granddaughters and it was plentiful.

We very much enjoyed our meal here. We stopped by for lunch and it was pretty dead. We were the only ones dining in and a few people walked in to pickup to go orders. I had the fried fish and my sister had the fried shrimp. Both options we thought were really good. The fishes were big and I only had room for one.. The french fries were hot and crispy and were seasoned well. I also tried the clam chowder and it was delicious. The shrimps were crispy and cooked right! Employees were friendly and the inisde was clean.

I was staying at the Comfort Inn and came to check them out during a thunderstorm. Plenty of seating. The service was amazing and the food was delicious. I got a seafood boil for one and a side of rice. My family and I went twice during our trip to Orlando. I would definitely recommend.

Restaurant is connected to a hotel. The dining is casual. Overall food was tasty and the shrimp was well seasoned. The server was friendly and helpful. Looking forward to trying something new next time.

Don't let the location throw you off (it's on the ground floor of a hotel). This place had good quick seafood. Is it gourmet? No. But if you're just looking for well seasoned fish and fries before going to one of the parks and paying a ridiculous amount, this is a good place to stop.

I was wavering between a 4 and 5 stars. It was really good. I got the shrimp sampler and it was a nice variety. Also had the clam chowder which I was skeptical of since they don't make it fresh here but it was really tasty. This place is off the street and frequently doesn't have a lot of customers, but if shrimp is your thing this is the place to go.

Simple setting...sort of...hotel lobby ambiance. And that is exactly what it is. However, the shrimp po boy came out piping hot, well seasoned, and generous in size. The fries were hot and fresh, and the hush puppies were very good (served hot from the frier). My wife had the sampler and all three variations on shrimp were very good. Walked in at 7:00pm, no wait (empty actually) and parking was easy, free, and also empty. Absent any frills, I still found the food, service, and price quite good.

We had a large order for delivery. It arrived in the estimated time and everything was correct. Everything was good. I tried boom boom shrimp, mac n cheese and sweet potato tots. I especially liked the sweet potato tots. The cinnamon is a nice touch and it's not too sweet while eating a savory meal.
