Murph's Patio Bar & Grill

A great spot in a nice location. I was first told about this little Victoria park establishment by friends but hadn't quite tried the menu when I first visited. Opting for just the tomato bisque. That soup was absolutely delicious and drew me back in recently. I tried my hand at the fish and chips meal, subbing out for onion rings. While fried a little crispier than I'd like, I will say I'd come back for another try at something different off of the service alone. The staff were all quick and ready to answer any questions I had about the menu or various limited run items I saw in photos that weren't in their rotation that day. If you're ever near by, they're worth a stop in to give a try.

Def a locals place to gather, folks r very nice & bar conversations r uplifting to say the least. Our bartender was great, she was pretty busy but never skipped a beat. Ordered a couple of craft brews & domestic's for the wife, along with Loaded Nacho's which was very tasty & fresh with plenty of goodies on top. Will DEF b back to try the dinner item's (fish & chips).....

Did an online order and picked up for my self and some co workers 1) online ordering was amazing and simple 2) it's not clear where the front door is and I went in a back/side door 3) parking can be tougher depending when you go it a busy area The food We got a BLT combo It was a BLT no complaints Also got the adult chicken tender platter Had high hopes : the chicken was rubbery and coating was soo thick it was saggy

Went to Murph's for the second time today, first time was during their soft opening, so it's been quite a while. I wasn't impressed then but gave them the benefit of the doubt and knew we'd try it again some night.We got there pretty early on a Sunday night so were seated quickly and our server was right with us. Always a win in my book. Drinks came out quickly. My hubby's Michelob ultra was a little warm but my landshark was perfect.We ordered the cheese curds to start and they were phenomenal. If that was the only food it would be 5 stars. I love ranch dressing with mine and that also was great. This made my Midwest heart so happy! Just an FYI they were little on the salty side which I didn't mind but others noted at the table.Then the Mahi Reuben and pasta salad came and that's where this meal took a nose dive. My sandwich was missing the crunch the coleslaw would have given it. The Mahi was overcooked and dry. And the pasta salad was such a salty - olive bomb it was inedible. Not sure if whoever made this batch got a little carried away or if this is how it would always taste.The other items at the table were a mushroom Swiss burger - overcooked and lacked flavor. The fish and chips which had a great amount of cod but the breading was super soggy, maybe it spent too much time under a heat lamp? And finally a patty melt which also no one was a fan of. The fries are coated in batter which I'm never a fan of, just more chemicals when a potato is more than enough. Also one person got onion rings which had an odd hint of sugar in the batter. Like it almost tasted like a funnel cake batter. It was such an odd flavor experience.Needless to say this was likely my last time trying Murph's. When the best thing you can put together in a $80 bill is cheese curds, there's something missing in your restaurant.

This building has had a number of places here and none made it. Fox 35 came here and showed what all of us that go to Murph's experience Family friendly atmosphere, solid food and a you are a part of the Murph's family when you arrive.Give the place a chance you won't be unhappy.Specials on weekend are so good and high quality.

Hamburgers here are so good. One of the best burgers that I ever had. I am from New York and I thought the food was great. I wasn't happens the service but they were packed so I won't say too much on that. I think they should update the bar with an overhead so they can store more glasses and bottles. I would come back for the food... very good.

Recently opened, tiny but mighty spot that is growing fast. We were there on a Wednesday night at 6pm and grabbed the last table. Our waitress was very friendly and attentive, and kept us informed on our food status. She mentioned the kitchen is still finding it's groove but I assure you that's only timing and not on the food quality. We started with some wings which were perfectly crispy and still moist and meaty. The hot sauce was pleasantly not straight vinegar and had some actual flavor (not really hot-hot but tasty). It was a bit of a wait between wings and mains but no more than 20 min and I'd much rather than the mains coming out too early. I got the fried chicken sandwich which was a legit full breast and breaded well with a great crunch. My father got the Bavarian burger which was a shock - it was actually cooked medium rare! It had some char! It was definitely closer to 10oz! It was messy (in the best way)!We have been seeking a good burger for a while and I feel like Murphs is the best we've found this far. Our waitress said they're working on expanding with more tables, more TVs, and games. Looks like a promising new spot!

This is your go to spot when visiting DeLand, from brews to great wings or delicious handheld. The fries are always perfect.

We stopped in for a couple beers and dinner, the atmosphere was ok, the staff seemed pleasant. We ordered a couple draft beers and the draft beers were not as cold as we would have liked. Next we attempted to order dinner, I was ordering the banh mi chicken sandwich special and E was ordering the adult grilled cheese, I asked the bartendar if I could get my banh mi chicken sandwich without the mayo but add the teriyaki bacon, she went in the back and asked the cook who refused to, I let the bartendar know I completely expect to pay extra for the BACON, just a special bacon, nothing crazy, or special request, just bacon, the cook still refused, the bartendar without coming out and saying it expressed here discontent but also expressed in a certain manner that the cook was known to be difficult... E and I cancelled our dinner order and paid for our beers and left. This was our first time here, probably the last

We went here for the first time yesterday, at 5:00, for dinner. I have to say our food was delicious! The reason I can't give it more than 3 stars is because the music was blaring! They have a jukebox so if people are playing hard rock music, that is what you will listen to. We listened to hard rock music from 5 to 530. Either way, it was way too loud for us. We planned on going on the patio next time so we can get away from the music, however, they are blaring it out on the patio, as well. We will only use this place for carry out.
