Mosonori is easily one of my favorite spots in Winter Park! The quality of the fish is top-tier, and the attention to detail in every hand roll is evident. My absolute favorite thing on the menu is the tuna tartare--incredibly fresh, flavorful, and just melts in your mouth.I also love their unique take on classic cocktails by keeping everything sake-based, like their espresso martini, which was surprisingly smooth and well-balanced. It's a creative approach that sets them apart.That said, I do wish they offered the option for steamed rice in their hand rolls. While I appreciate the traditional approach, I think steamed rice would elevate the experience even more and provide a great alternative for those who prefer it.Overall, the energy here is always amazing, and the service is top-notch. Whether you're a sushi lover or just looking for a great dining experience, Mosonori delivers. Reminds me of the famous Kazu Nori in New York, but better pricing !

Very chic intimate setting, perfect for date night. I arrived promptly at 5PM when they open for dinner. The establishment is filled with dim lighting around a U-shaped bar. In the middle are chefs curating your handrolls right in front of you. There are servers that take your order after explaining the paper menu to you. One of the cool features in the back of the restaurant are the refrigerators that hold the fresh fish that is prepared for you. They are labeled, "dry ager" and was told that it dry ages the fish! I've never seen a display like this--it added a beautiful touch to the ambiance and décor.The food was fresh and delicious. I had three shrimp and two crab hand rolls. They are rolled in seaweed and are so tasty. Four satisfied me and the fifth one was for gluttony LOLAs an avid espresso martini lover, of course I tried their sake cocktail, the espresso martini. I could taste the sake and it was sweet and tasty. From the hostess, to the servers, to the chefs, the customer service is perfect here. I will absolutely be returning!

Oh my goodness when i tell you i no longer have to travel to NYC for handrolls, i really mean it. They make their rolls sooo crunchy so make sure to eat it ASAP. I love the bay scallops here.SOOOO good.especially the fact you could taste all the flavors.If you wanna try, you should get the sets. My only complaint is how slow service here is. It takes a bit for them to make your next rolls. So im alittle impatient especially when i want to try the next rolls. I also love anything yuzu so check out their sea bream and crab rolls. The flavors are definitely there!

Mosonori is a fantastic handroll bar with an ambiance and design that truly stands out. The sleek, modern decor creates a stylish and inviting atmosphere. The staff are friendly and welcoming, though I did feel the vibe was slightly at odds with their casual demeanor - given the chic ambiance, I expected a more polished level of service. That said, it wasn't a huge issue. Hand rolls took about 10minutes between each hand roll, which felt a little long.The handrolls themselves were delicious - fresh and flavorful, with just the right balance of ingredients and not overly saucy. However, I was disappointed by the use of powdered wasabi instead of the fresh, which I felt would have matched the upscale feel of the place and the more premium pricing. For Orlando, Mosonori would be a good option if you're looking hand roll sushi.

Went to check out Mosonori for lunch last week and we had a lovely experience. The space and 31-seat bar are stunning! I appreciate that they have lunch hours because this is not really a place you can bring your baby/kids since it's bar seating only. My husband and I has a lunch date while our son was at school and it was perfect. It was very quiet for lunch with only one other couple in there at the time. You're given a paper menu and a pencil to mark your selections for the sushi chef to prepare. I opted for the 5-hand roll set menu which includes hamachi, bay scallop, akami, crab, and toro. I also added the hamachi sashimi tasting. My husband went with the Moso omakase which includes Chef Henry Moso's top picks -- hamachi tasting, yamaimo (Japanese yam), lobster, akami, toro, and eel.We both really enjoyed the hamachi tasting which is served with ponzu and serrano peppers for a little kick. My favorite hand rolls were the akami (spicy tuna) followed by the toro (fatty tuna). My husband really liked the crab and eel hand rolls. I probably could have eaten 1 more but decided to hold off since we were grabbing dessert afterward. It's definitely on the pricier side for lunch, but I look forward to going back and trying a few more rolls in the future!

Had the chance to check them out right after then opened.The ambiance and space was great and the menu was perfect. I love how it was nicely curated and just the right amount of options to choose from. Definitely will be a place I would go back to. Service was a little so-so. The workers were nice and what not, but near the end I felt like they were ready for us to leave. I had the 6 piece handroll selection and they didn't know which roll I was on until I asked. I am a more slower eater; they wait till you finish a roll then bring out the next.

Orlando-Finally got to try this "hand roll" sushi restaurant. Neither one of us had ever been to this type of restaurant. It was very low-key, but beautiful inside. A super cool vibe. Unfortunately, it was a little bit underwhelming, as far as the hand rolls go. I may be in the minority here when I say that it was just a little predictable and boring. We tried quite a few rolls and a couple of other items on the menu. We both agreed that it was very fresh and pretty tasty. We definitely feel like it was a one and done for us. We like more variety and the ability to tweak the ingredients if needed.

We had been waiting for this to open and finally went for lunch on a Sunday. There were about 8 people so it ended up being an intimate and chill experience. We each ordered from the set menu (4 rolls) and the salmon tasting. It was great to see everything prepared with such precision and quality. We were tempted to keep ordering, but glad we didn't because it was the perfect amount and we enjoyed every bite.

The food and services were impeccable and Pedro the server was very genuine. The environment was great and the manager Patrick madre sure of taking care of me and my party. Me and my family had a very special time . Will come back again !
