Morton's The Steakhouse

Wow! I have not been here in forever, but I am so happy that I went! Our server was absolutely hilarious! It was pretty crowded because magical dining was running, but the food was so good! We did order a couple of things that were missed, and then were charged for it, but they adjusted it at the end. I had the salmon, my husband had the filet with truffle butter, and our other friends got salmon and a New York strip. The food was absolutely delicious! Even though they forgot the truffle butter on the steak, it was still very flavorful and tender. The salmon was so yummy, I loved the beuree blanc sauce that was underneath.The mashed potatoes and green beans were so good. I got the chocolate cake for a dessert and it was delicious! The others said that the crème brûlée was a very good portion size and was good as well. I loved the onion bread, it tasted like a Hawaiian roll but with onion on it. We did ask for another one, but it was forgotten, but maybe we didn't need it anyway, haha! I would definitely return in a heartbeat to this restaurant! The restrooms were decent and the restaurant gave a typical steakhouse vibe. I'm not sure how long this restaurant has been in this location, but I remember visiting it over 15 years ago. The service was slow, but it was pretty packed that night, our server was funny and he tried his best. It's a good rival with the other competitor!

It was Christmas Day and we prepared for a leisurely meal, but 2 1/2 hours was not in our forecast. The food arrived just an hour after we ordered and it was room temperature. Well, at least it was very expensive. My wife's thesis was the kitchen wanted to "stick it to the man" for working on Christmas Day.

I had really high hopes for Morton's which didn't live up to any of them, maybe that's my fault, but for the reputation and price, I'm confident it was a rough night.First, we began at the bar and I had a pineapple-infused martini. It was vodka (infused) and pineapple juice in a martini glass. No garnish, no pizazz, nothing. For a restaurant of this stature, it was an odd start considering the bartender was pushing how great it would be, maybe it was overhyped, but I was expecting something more. The remaining part of the experience mirrored our time at the bar. The best part of the meal was the salad. I will 110% recommend the chopped salad! It was incredible, great mix of ingredient, incredible dressing (that wasn't too overpowering) and a large portion. It is definitely big enough to share. The meat (bacon app and filet) was fine - nothing incredible, but nothing special, either. Neither had anything that differentiated from other restaurants serving similar meals.The sides were extremely disappointing. Brussel sprouts were oily, minimal flavor, almost cold. The augratin potatoes were steaming hot but undercooked - by a large margin - they were crunchy (like the ones that come in a box before they are cooked). While the service was good, it was also subpar for a restaurant of this caliber. I'm hoping it was just an off night, but I would be very surprised if I visited again.

Our friends took us to Morton's The Steakhouse for our anniversary and it was nice. This was all of first time at Morton's so I got the 16oz. Cajun Ribeye on the suggestion of our waitress. It was very tasty especially compared to the other ribeye that my friend had. Our waitress was super helpful and courteous as was the assistant waiter. The ambience was what you would expect from a traditional steakhouse. All of our food was good, the lobster, the lamb chops and the oysters and thick cut bacon( probably the best of all) and of course the ribeye is something that I would order again. Overall it was a very nice restaurant and an experience that I would enjoying again.

They're back!! Not sure what changed but our last visit which was over a year ago wasn't the best, but tonight's visit was stellar! From the host, to the staff and food, everything was fantastic! Our server was Debbie and she was a true delight! Very nice and welcoming. She had excellent knowledge about the menu and made some great suggestions! We ordered two appetizers, the shrimp (a classic) and the meatballs, the Caesar salad, 2 ribeyes (1 with Cajun seasoning), creamed spinach, and the truffle fries. EVERYTHING WAS DELICIOUS!! Both steaks were filled with flavor and super tender. I love a slight char and a medium steak and the chef got it right!! I added the the truffle butter on my steak and that made it even more delicious! Morton's is back on my list for the best steaks in Orlando !!

We stopped by Morton's for happy hour. The service was a little lackluster but cordial and the food was only OK. I ordered the original burger, which was a very big portion for for only $19.78 and it came with fries. I ordered my burger, medium rare and it came out very much well done. The same for the petite filet mignon sandwiches and the mini cheeseburgers that my friend got. Party sitting next to us at the bar got bread service which we were not offered so I'm not sure if you have to request it, but it does not come out automatically. Meanwhile, we went to Eddie V's for happy hour before and the bartender automatically asked if we wanted bread and brought it out. The service was slow, very lackluster, most likely not going to add this place to the rotation of happy hours. The food was overdone and not that exciting. Eddie V's and Ruth Chris's have a better steakhouse. Happy hour if you're looking for something like that.

The service was awesome and totally helped with the birthday reservation. I for one have many allergies that I can't participate in the magical dining, however when I expressed this and that I only wanted a side that was about $14, and the magical dining was still added. The rest of the table did get the magical dining, but I didn't request it. I had emphasized this because they don't have a lot to offer for me to eat to begin with. The handling of the bill was just not it for me. I do not understand how one price is written on the menu but then charged something completely different, if nothing additional was being requested. Ambiance was standard and expected of this establishment. But I do recommend looking at your receipt to make sure things are being addressed if there's a team involved.

Shall I tempt you with sliders? These larger than life sliders are a happy hour staple and can be found at Morton's Power Hour. They feature Sunday- Friday #happyhours with food and drink specials. These 3 Prime burgers were cooked to order, juicy, and flavor packed all for $12. The bar is nice and bright. A great vibe with attentive staff and quick service.

Amazing ambiance, fantastic steaks and accompaniments. We had a very attentive waiter who was very accommodating and friendly. Thank you Rolo. If i had to say anything negative it would be that the French onion soup needs a makeover - I would give it a 5/10. Magical dining made this such an affordable deal The star of the show was the cake - must have the Molten cake.

We went to Morton's Steakhouse in the Dr. Phillips neighborhood on a Saturday at 5pm. Plenty of seating was available. We were celebrating a birthday. A loaf of bread was brought out. Warm and tasty. Wifey had the 8oz. Filet Mignon with an added lobster tail. She started with lobster bisque soup with a hardy chunk of lobster meat. She enjoyed it. She had the steak with bearnaise sauce. The lobster tale was devoured. I had the 16oz. Ribeye and a side of sour cream mash potatoes which we shared. We took half of the potatoes home along with half of wifeys steak. I enjoyed my ribeye with blue cheese butter on top and potatoes after having a bowl of French onion soup. Our server was friendly and fun to talk with. The atmosphere was dark and cool with great music playing.Coming back again for another special occasion in the future.A special birthday cake was bought out after dinner. A nice touch.
