Morenas Latin Bar & Grill

First visit to this Latin restaurant and it has a pleasant decor with pretty blue furniture in the lobby entrance. The hostess or greeter was very nice. I elected to try them out with a to go order. I ordered cafe con leche, and oxtail with two sides.I would return.

Both times that I've been here the food that I've had has been good; the sweet plantains and the chicken croquettes. The passion fruit margarita is amazing! However... the service is some of the worst I've ever had. They forget your order and you've already been there a half an hour at least before you even get to make one. Hopefully you don't need anything else because they'll never come back to check on you.It's really a shame because it could be a great place

We were happy to find some vegetarian options. They have take out or you can eat inside or out. The food was reasonably priced and very good. I wouldn't go back to this place because of all the styrofoam and single use plastic that will ultimately either be incinerated of end up in our waterways.

It was just OK, as far as the food is concerned. This is probably been like my 5th/6th time coming into this restaurant and kept forgetting to do a review until today. But today was one of the first days that I actually tried something on the menu that was outside of the appetizers and drinks that I usually come to the happy hours for with some friends.I decided to try the Alfredo and it was basic. Nothing crazy about it. The Tostones with the chicken was good as usual and the drinks don't really miss either. The food was bland and I probably wouldn't come here again for the food but just stick to the appetizers to be safe and keep happy hour as my go to time as well. My partner enjoyed the salad and she took hers to go.

Sorry to say that the food was a disappointment. Went on Monday night for happy hour - one or two other tables dining. - mozzarella sticks tasted like they were bought frozen and heated up- croquettes were just as bad - flat bread was awful. Too much cheese (not in a good way) and the sauce was not good. The good - Margaritas (2 for 1) were delicious and I would go back just for these drinks. - Our server: Friendly and knowledgeable. Checked on us often and explained the happy hour menu clearly. - The DJ played great music and seeing my nephew wearing dreads put on a nice reggae song which showed he was playing to the audience (my nephew is a musician and brought to my attention as a plus)

My friend and I decided to have lunch together and I wanted to try other dishes at this restaurant. We were seated right away and our server got our drinks. We ordered beef empanadas and shrimp tostones as appetizers. They were so very tasty. My friend ordered the Cuban sandwich with rice and beans instead of fries and I ordered the garlic shrimp with rice and beans and tostones. The food was extremely delicious! The shrimp was a large portion and the sandwich was huge. Our server checked in with us often and brought us refills too. I'm extremely happy with what we ordered and I'll definitely continue coming back!!

New spot and super chic! Insta worthy pics and out/in bar is cool. Dj both and mood lighting all around. Food was tasty and well portioned. Our server was polite and attentive.

Cuban coffee and quesitos are the best. This is a good place to get a cup of coffee and a quick sandwich.

The good here and the service is excellent and is a "you must try" by far the best place in Apopna to have a nice comfortable delicious breakfast!! The taste of the food is undescribable!! It just make you want to get more and more Leo is an excellent person, very kind and takes it's time to explain you the menu and the story of the whole place so I will say!! It is the best of the best

Was craving fried fish and had to stop by Morenas for hookup delicious rice plantains and yuca.. babe had the beef short ribs and they were delicious.. slow cooked to perfection rice and beans are always so good!!
