They have the meatiest beef patties around. They are consistently good. I wish they offered grass-fed beef patties. I would pay extra for those and no other Jamaican restaurant would have them

Went here to get lunch while working in Sanford for the day and the service was great! The oxtail was well cooked and had a good flavor! The rice was just right and the soup had a very good flavor! We didn't dine in but while waiting in our food inside the restaurant definitely has that Jamaican feel and vibe. The atmosphere reminds me so much of home and that made my experience a lot better from a personal stand point. Try them out if you guys are in Sanford!

I have gotten food to go from here twice last week. Both times I had the oxtail, my only complaint with the dish is there is hardly any gravy. It is a bit dry.The macaroni is delicious despite it being served broken up. I also tried the beef patty and it was perfection!Every time I have called the phone it has been answered promptly and the service is fast. I found the staff to be polite as I was polite to them, however I dis witness them shame a few people who were rude.I would recommend this place and plan on visiting again.

Ya Mon'! I'm going to say this with ALL DUE RESPECT....but if your Jamaican food spot isn't a small, hole-in-the-wall, great smelling, slow, with rude customer service....then you're in the wrong place for great Jamaican grub!Fortunately, Montego Bay Caribbean Takeout is ALL of those things! I've visited a couple of times and it always seems to not be very busy, smells amazing, and the food is excellent. The jerk chicken is spicy, flavorful and tender. The rice is fresh and the cabbage is very good as well. Ive even ordered hot beef patties with coco bread and my oh my is it good! I would say this has been the best Jamaican food I've had in Florida thus far (my sample areas have been Brevard and Seminole counties). I told the nice older gentleman last time "I will see you soon" and I intend to hold that promise!

Nothing fancy and solely takeout (there is one little table and a small shelf with a couple of seats for if, the minute you smell the food, you need to eat it up right there). And you might want to dig right in - the food is so flavorful and eye-appealing.This is a real mom and pop - he cooks, she does everything else. You're not going to get much in the customer service department but, overlook that, get yourself on Jamaican Time mon, and you'll love the food.

I really love this place. Since we moved to Sanford we have been looking for local places to eat in or take out. We really found a gem here. The owner is so friendly and the food is delicious and authentic. We tried the Curry Chicken, Ox Tails, and Jerk Chicken all with rice and peas, cabbage and cornbread and they were all amazing. I'll tell you that it is a bit spicy but it's Jamaican food so there you go. We're also fans of his Goat Soup which he only has on some weekends. You have to try this place. We go back again and again.

I live in Orlando and regularly drive here for their excellent food. My most frequent order is their jerk pork, simply outstanding. And I always get a beef pattie, as well. I travel for business a lot and this is my favorite place for Jamaican.

Amazing food, and you can identify their Jamaican food and accent if you don't like foods that are spicy then I consider that you get the chicken beef patty

Service could have been better. The food (oxtail plate, cabbage and cornbread) was bland. No flavor or spices. It was my first time so I probably won't return. My friend ordered a chicken patty and The lady rang up the order only to tell us 15-20 min later there was none. so they offered her a frozen one to cook at home.

food was trash, only give small portion of food for the price payed. they have bad customer service also. I would not recommend to any one to eat here.
