Mike's Grill

The Nutella stiff French toast with slice banana & strawberries was divine! Delicious. My neighbor are regular at this place. My friend suggested we meet up. We try to meet up once a month. For the new year this was it. Staff were pretty attentive, especially with the coffee. My friend got the biscuit and gravy and her reality enjoyed it. Ambiance is a typical diner and it was clean and they have a good breakfast menu. They don't serve lunch for breakfast that start at 11am my husband wouldn't like it for breakfast. We have had dinner here before and it was good.

Don't look up at the mold blowing off the A/C ducts in the main dining area. If they can't keep those clean .........On top of that, we watched them, bring our order to a table next to us. Watched the people next to us, put their fingers in our order and tell them that this was not theirs, and then they brought it to our table and when we said the other people just touched all of our food, they said OK we'll take it right back and make it new. 30 seconds later they came back with the same food and we left. Disgusting!

Where did the bread pudding go? I've eaten the wings but I didn't care for their recipe of blue cheese dressing. Maybe it's a personal taste thing. I love fried chicken and I think they could be in the running for best in Bartow but lately I'm not so sure. I hope they have some good sports on. Maybe it will change .

Mike's is a great place for some "home cooked" type meals. It's big, so there's plenty of seating. And they have an enormous menu so there's probably something for everyone. Service is always great; really friendly folks. We've been several times but this last time, I tried the fried chicken. That is some seriously good fried chicken. No knocks on the chicken at all! The only reason I took a star off is because it's a bit pricey. Not terrible, but everything is a bit high there. Everything else is just dandy! We're always happy when we leave Mike's!

This was my first visit to Mike's Grill in Bartow, FL. I was in town on a business trip and Mike's was a suggestion by a staff member at the hotel I was staying in.I'm glad I took her suggestion, because Mike's Grill didn't disappoint. I was immediately greeted with a smile and was seated. After only being seated for a short while, my presence was graced by Marissa who also greeted me with a smile. After taking my order, I watched how the staff interacted with the patrons. The staff was very professional and patient to the large amount of guests on hand.My food was served as ordered and tasted great. It was cooked perfectly. My overall experience is a positive one. Good food, great service and a clean facility. The attention to detail was on point.I give Mike's Grill two BFI Fist pumps!!Keep up the great work!

If you like being seated at a damaged table, having your rolls, soup, salad, and main course brought out all at the same time, and having it all taste terrible, then this is the place for you! The beef orzo was cold and mediocre at best. The salad, although they do toss it before you, was not fresh at all and had several wilted pieces in it. My son ordered the steak on a stick and fries off the kids meal, while I ordered the prime rib and steamed broccoli. The only thing that had some semblance of taste was the steak on the stick. His fries looked and tasted like they were cooked hours ago. The prime rib (which was ordered medium) was cold and had absolutely no taste to it. Even the horseradish that was served with it was watered down/almost tasteless. The broccoli tasted like it was steamed with fish. The taste of fish on the broccoli was overpowering to the point it was inedible...unless you like your vegetables to taste like fish. I wish I had something good to say about the place but the overall experience from beginning to end was awful.

This place is straight gas, clean and quick. Not busy when I went, food came out great.

Friendly people. Good menu. Generous portions. If we lived in Bartow this would be a regular stop.

Good Food nice Food smell when you walk in the door!!! Fast Service worth the drive to get there. Lots of room in the restaurant. Super Parking space.
