Mi Pueblo Bakery

We stopped in for a quick bite on the run. We ordered 2 chicken empanadas and 1 of the cream cheese filled pastries. We weren't sure what to expect. I enjoyed the flakiness of the crust and the cream cheese filling. It's also topped with melted sugar. They were so light, I could have eaten 2. We liked the authentic empanadas. The cornmeal shell was perfect. They were stuffed with shredded chicken (nicely seasoned) and diced potatoes (not too many). I'd return again if in the area. The guy who waited on us was nice. I'm glad that I knew some Spanish, as the menu was in Spanish.

Awesome empanadas! Made fresh to order! I'm addicted! The Cachotos de jamon y queso is perfection and rich in flavor! A MUST try. I LOVE this place!!!

Stopped in here during a rainy day while Portugal was playing Uruguay during the World Cup. We were immediately greeted with a warm welcome. We only had coffee and some baked goods although they have plenty of great Colombian eats that can be ordered. The coffee was hot and delicious. The almjobanas, pandebono, quesitos, cachitos de jamon y queso (ham and cheese), Colombian empanadas and the flan de maracuya (passion fruit cheese cake) were to die for!!! We're definitely coming back to try the rest of their food.
