Mi Mexico is your classic delicious Mexican restaurant. We've never been disappointed in the food or service when we've come. I always get the create your own - pick 3 where I get 2 soft tacos and a burrito, which comes with rice & beans too. My husband switches it up and on this recent trip with friends 3/6 of them got fajitas! Had to get a photo of how full our table looked of goodness. A few years back we went with a large group for my husbands birthday and it was such a fun vibe and you could tell the servers were having fun with us! If you're out in NSB looking for a Mexican restaurant, you will love this one!

This place is literally so disgusting. There's a lot of other awesome Mexican restaurants around NSB. If you WANT to get sick though, this is the place to go.It always smells terrible outside and the workers are dirty. Even sleeping in the dirty floor and mop watery cardboard out back. I've even been disgustingly catcalled by them before.Last time I ate their food I got sick. They're constantly shut down for health code violations too. I don't know how people go there still, probably tourists that don't know.Hopefully if you're a tourist, you see this and know DO NOT GO!!!

I do a week every summer in Julyto NSB(here right now) and Mi Mexico is a staple during our trip. Went last night and everything was very good and came out VERY fast. It's family owned and we've enjoyed eating there for years!

Whenever I go to the beach I park in the lot directly next to here. I've been told this place is really good so we decided to try it after the beach. The chips and salsa were meh. I got the salsa fundido for our appetizer. It looked amazing, but tasted off and I didn't finish it. I got the steak del dio which is steak over a bed of rice and special sauce. The rice was nonexistent and I don't understand why they included chips as it wasn't in the description. The sauce tasted like watered down queso. The steak tasted like the precooked strips that you get at Publix and microwaved.I had a few bites and left hungry. The only reason I gave 2 stars is due to our server. It was packed but he always made sure we were taken care of.Do not recommend.

Let me start by saying... there are NOT a lot of restaurant options in NSB-particularly for Tex-Mex. We have eaten at Mi Mexico many times over the years. It is your average Mexican restaurant, complete with pictures of the food on the menu. After much coaxing, my husband agreed to stop here at my request. We walked in and were told to seat ourselves. So we opted for the booth right next to the front door as it was the last booth available. Unfortunately the view of the parking lot was obstructed by the dirty windows, window ledge and flies fighting it out on our window. I was certainly disappointed in the lack of perceived cleanliness in the restaurant. It takes no time to wipe down your section before each shift and at the end of the night. We waited for just a few minutes and we're quickly met with warm chips and fresh salsa and our waiter came to take our drink order. I opted for a large margarita and my husband a Pepsi. After a few minutes, our waiter came to take our order. I always resort to arroz con pollo at these places, as I know that dish and it is really hard to mess it up. Same holds true here. I had requested hot salsa with my meal. It was forgotten and I had to stop the manager to request it a second time. My husband chose the Enchiladas Suizas which was 3 tortillas stuffed with chicken and covered in a blend of ranchero and queso sauces. My husband said it was bland and the two sauces together did NOT add to the dish. We would have told our waiter this, had he come back by at all. We did not see him once we ordered, until we were presented with the check. All in all, a decent experience with decent food. If you must have Tex Mex in NSB, this is a safe bet.

Food was OK ..the refried beans were tasteless. While eating asked the waiter to see if can change TV channel from "Painting with Bob" to the playoff football game. He stated he would ask manager. Never got back to us. On way out asked whom we assumed was manager if can change TV to watch the playoffs & he stated "he was unable to change the channel". We left as we would of stayed @ bar & had a couple more drinks. Definitely not a 4 star restaurant food wise.
