My friends and I were craving authentic Mexican food and we came across this place near us. The store is connected to the restaurant and it's a little on the smaller side, but really delicious food and great service! We were helped quickly and our food didn't take too long to get ready. Pricing was great and fair. We'll definitely be back to try more items from their menu!

Sometimes, it's the hidden place that has the most to offer. I had my first street taco in Columbus Ohio at a Mexican restaurant - i went in there for some groceries and they had a smaller restaurant on the side. If you're not "in the know" or shop there, you wouldn't realize it - and the food was amazeballs. Well, Mi Mexico Carneceria Y Taqueria is exactly like the place from CBus. The street tacos are wonderful. Now, i usually try steak and al pastor tacos - and they did not disappoint! I find that some places don't grill the steak enough and they're not that flavorful. Al Pastor can be done several ways - cut off of spit is the most traditional with some pineapple flavoring. Mi Mexico did a very good job. The horchata was mmmm mmmm good. Also, 5 tacos were $10.60. In 2022, this is amazingI'm looking forward to coming back and trying some more things!

So glad this place opens their taqueria early in the morning for authentic food. We got here around 8:30, waited a couple mins for a burrito and two asada tacos and couldn't even wait to get home to eat them. The meat and ingredients were fresh and the flavor was amazing. The hot sauce they gave us was hotttt. I think this place might be part of our morning routine when we go on this side of town.

Best authentic Mexican tacos. A hole in the wall place inside a Spanish bodega. Definitely reminiscent of my childhood when my mom would take me to the bodega and there were so many Jesus and Virgin Mary pictures and statuses. It gave the impression my mom would have scolded me for not doing the crucifix gestures. The fact that they were playing Pedro Infante film in the background just make it authentic. I order two tacos and my bf ordered three tacos. Two horchata and one soda. The total was just $16. I order my taco with cheese and chicken and carnitas. So so delicious. I even liked the shell. My horchata was so good. Not too much cinnamon and not too sweet for the palate. Great "Big Gulp" size for the horchata. I would drive all the way to Apopka for this place.

Tacos and burritos are outstanding and the entire corner of the plaza reminds me of Mexico including the bakery that makes fresh tortillas next door. The kitchen at this place is absolutely spotless so if your concern is simply cleanliness because it has the hole in the wall quality, that won't be an issue here. My wife loved the tacos and I thought the burrito was awesome.

Al pastor was pretty good--more meat than usual, which was nice. Chorizo was a little over-done in my opinion, but still OK. Overall, 7.0/10. Would return but would not go out of my way to get it again.

I like this place, mostly because its just an authentic grocery where Mexicans get food. I think the food is good too. I wouldn't call it the very best I've had, but SOLID and a great value. If i sound a little snobby its because i like the meat and tortillas grilled just before serving, perhaps even having a special greasy quality that screams "you want this".Mi Mexico is just too busy to put the twice-cooked crispies on that carne, same with the tortillas, which are served warm but not grilled. When in Rome, we do as Romans. They don't skimp on the meat however and accordingly they have to double up on the tortilla, so there's the real value. Great flavor on all the meats, salsa is typically middle of the road for me but now we're just speaking about personal preferences. Either way, they're doing something right because I've stopped here about 6 or 7 times now over the last few years. Service has always been welcoming and friendly, though it is possible to wait up to 15 minutes for take out. They do a brisk business.
