Metro Espresso Pizza

The pizzas that we ordered were delicious. We ordered one Meat Lovers and one Bianca Veggie, both full of cheese, the one with meats full of meats and the one of vegetables full of spinach, garlic and tomatoes...both were large, good size and delicious. The service was excellent. They sat us quickly, we were a group of 6, the restaurant was full. Our waitress was Vanessa and she was great!We recommend this restaurant and we put it in our list of favorites.

Great service friendly people. Visited Lake Eola Saturday evening to enjoy the unusually cool fall like weather in late winter here in Florida. Quick picnic shopping left me with a coffee craving which led me to visit the Metro Espresso Pizza joint. I agreed with previous comments about how it looks like it was plucked out of a neighborhood from NYC. I requested to purchase a coffee macchiato and a Hot chocolate for my child. Price was reasonable and drinks were spot on . Although I didn't purchase any other food; what I bought was good enough for us to continue our picnic in the park.

Alma is an amazing person. Great place to eat! Pizza is excellent! I also had the Marsala!... so good!

We've walked past this place many times, and decided to stop in today for a quick lunch. Sitting outside was nice, it was a beautiful day. The hostess was great, seated us and was very friendly. Anna, I believe, was our server and she was very nice, my wife got a lunch special of a slice and a salad. I thought I was starving, so I had a small pizza.Everything came out in a timely manner, and boy, they aren't shy on sizes. That small pizza seemed more like a medium, but that's fine, it was bubbling hot and tasty. The cheese slice that came out was huge as well. Pretty normal fare for a nice little Italian pizza place.Overall, everything was pretty good, we had to leave a little early. We will definitely stop back in again, add it to our rotation of places to eat at when in the area.

This is one of my go to places for Italian food in Orlando. Being from NY / NJ, I have a high bar for pizza. Originally, I wasn't too sold on their pizza, but once they updated their menu and ingredients, they have really stepped it up. I do have to knock off a star for service, as it can be a long time before you see your server even when you're the only people there. The atmosphere is cozy and feels like youre dining in a small NYC storefront. All in all I would recommend Metro Espresso, but go in to it with the expectations that service might take a while.

This was the closest restaurant to the lake so made the choice easy. Luckily they had outdoor seating because we were sweaty and the weather was nice. Our server was very pleasant, and invited us to choose any table we wanted. The outdoor wasn't anything fancy and all the tables were clean so we grabbed one in the corner. For dinner we ordered a pepperoni pizza which was fabulous. We devoured the perfectly cooked pizza. The crust wasn't too thick or thin, and it had a wonderful wood fired flavor. The cheese and pepperoni ratio was perfect per slice. Our only comment was that after we made our order we never saw the server again until we were ready for the check. If you are seeking a quality pizza this place will surely deliver that. Their menu is quite large with lots of Options if you decide that you don't want pizza.

Party of 6, easy to get a table on Sunday evening without reservation. Offer indoor and outdoor (covered) seating. Garlic knots were fresh & served warm. I enjoyed my Chicken Francese Entree, large portion, and looking forward to leftovers tomorrow. Everyone was pleased with their selection, plenty of options. Fee for CC use, but clearly marked on bill. Eola parking can be a challenge, but lots of alternatives nearby.

I liked the bread except in spots it was really wet like dipped in water which was kind of unpleasant.The sandwich was large, my friend and I shared one. One sandwich and 2 drinks was over $20, over $24 with the tip. Realistically I prefer Jersey Mike's.

The bun on my burger was burnt and hard as a brick. Burger had no flavor. The chicken wings are over priced and no flavor. Server were not pleasant and seemed to have an attitude when I questioned the $3.00 charge for lettuce.

One of the best garlic knots in central Fla. Pizza is fresh and tastes the way pizza should.
