Looking for a good place to eat lunch together as a family before heading to Universal Studios for the day I found Metro Diner on Yelp with some pretty impressive reviews. Well, those raves were well deserved. To begin with, we were greeted upon entering the restaurant. The hostess and all the staff were very friendly and welcoming. The place rocks a diner vibe that makes you feel nostalgic, happy, and upbeat. Once we were seated our server was on scene post haste. She took our drink orders and answered our questions. We learned that they make everything on site. And the food we had was great! This is a smallish chain and I will definitely keep my eyes open when traveling to different places and visit Metro if they're around.

Kinda surprised the high reviews of this place. We stopped in for lunch on a weekend and the place was half full. I could tell the tall guy at the front was multitasking multiple jobs while everyone else was standing around. Neither the dining room nor the bathrooms were that clean but maybe bc the breakfast rush had just completed. We ordered some fried chicken and a club sandwich. The food was better than I thought it would be but the service other than the guy who seated us was not good. We had to ask multiple times for refills and it was like pulling teeth to get more napkins. I had to get them myself. Nah, I'll look elsewhere for eats next time.

Food was exceptional as always. If you come here for the first time, I HIGHLY RECOMMEND chicken and waffles. I prefer the tenders over the half chicken but it is always delicious. The spicy syrup for the tenders gives it an amazing taste. Waffles, fluffy and crispy with a strawberry butter, sooo good.Tiffany was amazing. She was attentive and professional since we sat down until the end.I really love this place, I bring friends and family here often. Thank you Metro Diner for hiring great staff and making delicious food.

While in Kissimmee this is a must stop for All-day day breakfast, lunch or dinner. Everything is freshly made and worth any wait you may experience. A stop for DDD in 2013, anything and everything is delicious. We dined on steak home fries bowl, meat lovers home fries bowl, avocado toast and a bacon egg-cheese croissant with hash browns.Our waitress was great and so many staff members jumped in as needed. Highly recommended.

Very nice diner. Our first visit. Wide menu something for everyone. We had a classic sausage/ eggs/ biscuit breakfast and a fried chicken and strawberry waffle combo. Both were excellent. Fresh fruit was really fresh and good. Server Blake steered us in the right direction, very nice. We will be back with friends. Most highly recommended!!

Cannot say enough good things about this place! Very clean, including the bathrooms. The service was wonderful. Our awesome server, Sammy, was very helpful with recommendations and modifications. The food was amazing. My husband got the friend chicken benedict and said it was the best benedict he has ever had. I got the strawberry griddles. Strawberry pancakes with strawberry cream cheese, crumble topping and fresh strawberries! Did not disappoint at all! My son got the kids chicken and waffles and he said it was "fantastic." 10/10. Will definitely come back for another visit.

Nice diner, pretty much exactly the kind of food you would come to expect from a place like this. The staff was kind and the service was rather efficient. The pricing was pretty good as well. I wish it was a bit more themed, feel like it lacked a bit of personality. Otherwise a decent diner.

What an awesome find. The welcome is super friendly. Great service by Amanda with great recommendations. We went for lunch; started with a Flight of Mimosas that is a great value together with a tasty Poutine. Then shared a plate of a delicious Friend Chicken with mashed potatoes WOW! So big we took some home. Finalized with a spectacular Pumpkin bread pudding. The Manager Valerie is on top of everything. This is the kind of place to go at least weekly. We will be back soon for breakfast. Don't forget to join their EClub for a discount. Plenty parking and a nice airy energetic ambiance. Will be back soon

Always a great spot for breakfast and brunch! Great service always, and a warm and welcoming environment. I always start with a mimosa and the cinnamon roll pancakes, they are amaaazing! Then for my main corse I usually go for their fried chicken benedict, always a winner! It can get busy around noon so I try and come a little after the rush around 2pm!

We had a total of 5 graduates ( all friends ) and their families. They wanted to celebrate and at the very last minute we all decided to go get breakfast/brunch. Metro dinner was in the area so we showed up with about 35-40 people and they were able to accommodate our party and we were super grateful ! The service was amazing! Food amazing! We were all already on a high of celebrating and they just added to it. Everyone's food came out great and it was a breeze. Big thanks to the entire staff, we know that was a lot but they made it work with a smile !
