Melo Colombian Stuffed Arepas & More

2nd time having Melo Colombian Stuffed Arepas and more, & I can definitely say that I am a fan. They serve stuffed arepas and Colombian burgers here. It's a small size like the size of your hand so it's a nice tasty snack. This time around I had the arepa burger which is so wonderful and tasty. I have had the stuffed arepas but I can definitely say this is my fave.They are located inside the Mount Dora Marketplace which at times has different food vendors. They are fast and efficient and where ever you choose to sit they will deliver it to you. We chose to say outside. They have two buildings right next to each other and the one in the corner is where they are located. They use to be in the other building. This is a better location for them.Will definitely come back for this tasty food option in Mount Dora!

Melo's Colombian Stuffed Arepas and More offer delicious arepas and burgers. The arepas are flavorful and the burgers are satisfying. If you're a fan of Colombian cuisine, this place is worth a visit!

Inside the market place is this great little spot- prices are bit high for the size but the food was good. It's a quick service and a great spot for lunch.

A hidden gem located in the Mount Dora Marketplace. In the back of this building full of little shops. The arepas were good. We had the chicken and cheese and a plain cheese arepas. A place to visit for a quick meal. Sorry forgot to take a picture.

Shared a perfectly prepare sweet corn arepas with pulled pork for lunch prepared by Chef Diego Tarazona. A visit to Melo is well worth your time if interested in an authentic Columbian Stuffed Arepas.

Over priced and awful customer service. The girls at the counter are so rude! Would not recommend

We popped into the market looking for another vendor but were pleased to happen upon Melo. They were busy but service was still prompt and helpful. The food came in the timeframe promised and it was DELICIOUS! I got the chicken arepa with cheese. Sorry no pictures but I dove in before I had a chance! My mom ordered from another vendor but I shared some of my meal with her and she instantly regretted not ordering from Melo. The chicken was moist (yeah, I said it) and delicious, the arepa was perfect and held up to the flavorful but plentiful pink sauce. To top it off, they checked in with us several times to ensure we were enjoying our meal. All in all, I'd go back in a heartbeat!

If I could give it more than 5 stars, I would. Located inside Mount Dora Marketplace, next to Wolf Branch Brewing. Hubby and I love breweries, so we went to Wolf Branch (excellent beers btw) and we were hungry so the beertender told us our option of the restaurants adjacent to the brewery and he highly recommended Melo, said their Arepos were excellent. We'd never heard of an Arepo, and the description sounded right up my alley...Hubby, he never wants to try anything new, decided to give it a try as well. We both got the chicken, mine with hot sauce, hubby's without. HOLY MOLY!!!!!! DELICIOUS!!! Even hubby loved it .I can't wait to go back to get another one.

Awesome empanadas and arepas. Sauce is amazing. Super friendly service, will definitely be going back.
