Popped in here for a quick bite to eat during lunch on a Saturday. There was a line but it moved quickly. We ordered both the already ready hot food and some empanadillas that are made to order. The pollo al ajillo was super well seasoned nice and tender and well as the arroz con gandules. I got a chicken and a pizza a empanadilla Everything was super yummy. The only reason I'm not leaving a 5 is we decided to dine this food in and we were having trouble finding a clean table and then the one we did find, the booth was like sunken in from how many people have sat there in the past.

Great service and even better food! This bakery made me feel like I was back in Puerto Rico. From the friendly service to the pastries, the coffee and the sandwiches, Melao is where you need to go. We ordered sandwiches and coffee and a pastry. The sandwiches are Huge!!! I had my favorite donut. It's a sugar donut I used to have as a kid. My husband had the quesito pastry.Would definitely go back for the pastrami sandwich.

I love stopping by this bakery whenever I am in this area. The baked goods are delicious. My favorites are the sugar donuts and the quesitos. They have 3 different lines to order, bakery line, to go line, cafeteria style line for all the other food on the steam food line. The staff is great, they get you in and out. The dining area is a large cafeteria style, it work, people move in and out of the seating, so don't stress if it is packed.

Service is quick and there is a lot of room inside to sit down as it gets very busy. There are a lot of food options and you can see everything you are ordering on the line. There was a long line but things went pretty quickly and smoothly.

First off, the prices are absolutely wonderful! There's breakfast, sandwiches, rice, beans, mondongo, pernil, salads, coffee, icees, avena. All of the staples you normally find in a Puerto Rican bakery. Their bakery is beautiful, I walked in and told them "wow this looks beautiful" lol.So many options, colors, and flavors. I'm hooked on the almendra cake with guava and coconut flakes on top. If you're in the area (it's by I-drive) definitely stop here for some Spanish food. There's plenty of indoor seating too.

Bread and pastries are very good, as well as service. However, their lunches are very low quality. Breakfast is good, but lunch (yellow rice, pasteles, ribs, etc.) are low quality and not tasty. Will pass on lunch.

El Melao is our to go place when we are in Orlando and I'm craving some food from back home. They serve so much food and everything we have tried is delicious! Reminds me of mom and pop's cafeterias in PR. It's always packed and they have all kinds of sweets, desserts and sandwiches

This restaurant was fire! The line was outrageous, but that's a great sign when it comes to good food. They offer a variety of Latin cuisine. I had a tripleta (puerto rican sandwich). I also tried some of the fresh pastries from their bakery side of the restaurant. Overall this place is worth the wait.
