Mei Asian Buffet

No real tuna or salmon. Your basic low-end Chinese buffet. $20 at night, and they overcharged me. Service ok but a couple servers still wearing their stupid face diapers after four years.

I love buffets. When I pay a $100 in Vegas I know what to expect. When I pay $13.95 in Orlando - I also know what to expect. For what this is - it was amazing. Simple, no frills or thrills. I loved it and I thought everything was fresh. I honestly honestly don't know why this place is not getting better reviews. I probably had five plates of crawfish and a ton of shrimp. Some fried dishes and veggies were delicious too. Sushi, you can skip they just simply don't look appetizing. Variety of desserts and fruits. If you visiting from out of town and you don't want to overpay for basic food to give this place a try, especially if you're with the family and you want to save some money.

Decided to grab dinner here since we were next to ICON Park. Thought we'd give this buffet a shot. I'm not a huge fan of buffets, but willing to try it. I may never know but be surprised. The place is casual with typical Asian decorations. They have a lot of food to choose from. The food was ok. Let's just say if this is the only Asian restaurant around and I needed Asian food, I can come here! Lol The service was ok. Give it a try, it might be good for you.

The food is horrible bland and old don't bother coming here to waste your money and time. On top of that they have the balls to charge 15% gratuity !!!!

On our way to Madam Toussand museum and stopped at Mei Asian buffet. Anybody who is somebody knows how buffets work. Drinks and crab legs are an extra charge. The ambiance gives me oriental vibes and a very homey feel. The wait staff came to greet us at the door and took our drink orders(Pepsi products). The buffet is right next to Icon Park. There is free parking when you eat at the buffet. The pistachio mint ice cream was the piece de resistance to a fab buffet dinner. We are stuffed like 2 turkeys on Thanksgiving day! Off to Madam Troussand we go.

I'm giving 2 stars bc the food was tasty & there was plenty of vegetarian options. The food could've been warmer. A few dishes, one being the crab legs weren't hot. I'm glad I asked what the mushrooms were stuffed with. Its normally crab theirs was chicken. The ice cream area was dirty. My son didn't want to get any bc he saw a couple of flies. The plates & forks weren't the cleanest. They add $5 gratuity. I had to get one of the buffet attendants to get the waitress to refill my water. They charge $5 extra for the crab legs. If it's on the buffet, it should be included. I wish I had checked the reviews. I never dine at places that have below 3 stars. I don't recommend.

Just ate there. They automatically added a 15% tip (after tax) to the bill for 1 person. I asked the woman why and she said she can charge what she wants because it's a tourist area. Normally I add 20% but this time I left no tip. Her reasoning is flawed and charging a tip on top of the taxed amount is wrong. It's the customers prerogative to add a tip. Don't go here. I will not go here again. Can't help but wonder how many didn't notice and added another tip on top of the one they automatically add.

Food sucks, charge $10 for the frozen little crab leg, mandatory charge 15% tips for only three people.

Food was tasteless,looked fresh with smoke coming out but the food is infact not fresh,most food was bland,chicken had yellow meat,any meat was hard. The service was barely even there we waited like a good 4 minutes before getting our drinks and barely refilled. The ambiance was like any other buffet but very much smaller with very little limited options.

Food was absolutely disgusting. Hard , unseasoned, not the best variety selection and no white rice. Just trash. Save your money and go elsewhere.Too expensive per person almost $20 for shit food. They also tried to force a 15% tip. Only good thing about the place it was beautifully decorated.
