Medellín Burger Steak & Bar

Had the chance to check out Medellin Burger Steak & Bar the other day for lunch. Upon walking in you're greeted to a very cozy yet modern environment. The hostess greets you and then allows you to choose the seating of your choice. Throughout the restaurant they pay homage to Medellin with various art works and paintings that looked very nice.I browsed through their menu, they had a variety of different burger options as well as platters. I opted for the grilled steak platter with rice, beans and a salad.This was made fresh to order and it did not disappoint. The steak was flavorful and tender and seasoned well. The rice and beans were excellent, the beans had great flavor to them. The bottom line, this to me is truly a hidden gem in Central FL. You get good service, good food with a nice cozy environment and everything is reasonably priced. I am a fan and will be back for sure.

The decor is greatMy Review:The food was great. The chicharron was amazing and had SOOO much FAVOR! Hands down one of the best chicharron I ever had! The tacos were good; however, the skin on the pork belly makes them a little hard BUT they were good!! This place is must try! Trust me when I say, you will be ready be planning your next visit before you leave the parking lot.. Enjoy and thank me later! Overall Score: 9/10

I was in from Texas on business and my daughter was in town with her husband for holiday, she suggested we meet here for dinner.As I was first to arrive I grew a bit concerned as it was dark and all I could really make out from the street was the bright Message sign, that turns out is next door. I pulled in to the small parking lot anyway, as my navigation told me this was the spot and that was when I realized it was the Medellin Burger, steak and Bar. It was clearly something else originally. The outside is not very lit up with signage or even anything resemblance it is a great place to eat.Upon entry it was pretty empty at 6:15 pm on. Monday night in January. They're was one group in the back, all ladies from Columbia celebrating a birthday.Upon the kids arrival we ordered their red wine Margherita a sausage and corn cake appetizer. Both delicious. They are know. For their burgers and skirt steaks, but have tacos, salads and other Columbian items.We went burgers. The meat needed to be salted, and was exceptionally greasy, but man was it good and big. I knife and forked my burger but ate it all. The shoe string fries are not my favorites but were super crispy, which I love.I ordered some fried plantains as a side as well.All in all I walked out fat, full and happy. Would go back with others and try more if I get a chance. If you have never had Columbian food you owe it to yourself to try.

Heyyyyyyy you guyyyyssssss! Wanted a burger and this place did not disappoint. The burger options are creative and delicious. It wasn't your traditional grilled burger, but the flavors were delicious. Different than American burgers but super yum. We opted for the Medellín burger and the Paisa burger both came with shoe string potatoes. The menu options do not stop at burgers, they have several other things, Colombian food and soon to come some Peruvian food options. The staff is so sweet, margs and sangria 2x1 Mon-Fri 2PM-9PM and friends they are both yum! PS. They are also going to serve breakfast very soon as well. Decor is super cute, low key vibe, music is fun! Not sure how I missed this place the last 2 years but come check them out.

So What's for dinner tonight my daughter says so I say well It's Taco Tuesday... so let's go and try that place which we pass by ( All the time) so we arrive about 7:30 and the Special of the night 3 tacos for $9. Yayyy right up our budget. We walk in and look around it's small, clean you have a choice of table or booth. By the way you seat yourself the place was not busy at all which was nice for me. They have a bar area , big screens TVs, and music playing, a lil loud, mostly adults are here tonight. I thought it was Mexican turns out it Colombian! Our Server was polite she took our orders for food and drinks the food came out shortly afterwards Below are pics of what we ordered it was delicious

First off, how cute is this place?! Love it. Secondly, the food was great! My friend, who is really hard to impress, got the burger and he talked about it the whole day lol. The chicharrons were sooo good. The tacos were also delicious. The churrasco was flavorful and the yuca fries were perfectly crispy and delicious. The green garlic sauce was STUPID GOOD. The staff was friendly. Definitely gotta go back and try all the burgers.

This place is always a pleasure to enjoy some lunch or dinner. I got to grab some lunch this day, and the food was superb . I will definitely have this dish again for sure. Cazuela de Frijoles / Bean Casserole: Arroz, frijoles, panceta de cerdo, salchicha, plátanos maduros fritos, aguacate y tostón frito. / Rice, beans, fried pork belly, sausage, fried sweet plantains, avocado, and fried green plantain.Great customer service was from the staff. I had to help translate for my table since the server only spoke Spanish. I didn't mind at all. The decor is always pleasing and reminds me of the photos of Colombia . I would recommend them because they are a hidden gem.

An arepa review. Having tried arepas for the first time in NC over the summer, I've been checking out the arepa options in the O-Town area. I found Medellin as an option through a search in the Yelp app (of course). I called in the order for pick up, that was easy to place, and was surprised by the estimated short time until the food was ready. Entering the small and empty restaurant (lunchtime), bright decorations caught my eye. The employee (I only saw one) who greeted me was friendly and when I checked out, she pulled out two Double-bubble Bubblegum pieces to go along with my takeout. She told me they were complimentary. I made sure to agree to the offer of sauces that are a regular addition to arepas. Don't miss out!Opening up the container at work, I was amazed at the size of the arepa and the amount of chicken and anticipated great flavors. I was not disappointed (!), and I had to use a fork and knife due to the size factor. The first bite met all expectations! The ground corn arepa, the warm grilled chicken, melted cheese and sauce complemented each other and combined for a satisfying meal. Although Medellin is known for its burgers, right now I'd happily order arepas again!

Our family had just finished watching a movie on the holiday week break and we were hungry and looking for something new to try in the Altamonte area, where the movie was at. Many of us in our family have gluten issues and we read a review that they had options and a good review. So we gave decided to give it a try. Walking into the sweet little restaurant we were greeted by the warm colors Columbia, feeling like we were swept into a romantic little village with flowers spilling from pots on the the walls and Spanish tiles decorating the bar. The menu itself was beautiful to look at with a plethora of food to choose from to get you excited about your coming meal. We choose a variety of artisan burgers and steak as wellas a special milk drink with soursop and mint. First as it came it was plated beautifully and smelling as delicious as it looked and was. The gluten free burger with Tostones, fried mozzarella and guacamole were juicy and full of favor and crunch. Also very filling we went home with leftovers. The steak's spices were splendid and the sweet potato fries were fried as they should be crisp and sweet not soggy, thank you for getting that right too. The milk drink with soursop and mint is our new favorite way to enjoy soursop. All in all go try for yourself it met the marks on all levels, and when we showed our true interest in the culture and wanting to know the true authentic ways Colombians enjoy there food our server opened up joyful to share.

Great atmosphere with even better food! Service was top notch and the food did not disappoint! Drinks were delicious! Food did not take long to be served and the flavors were spot on! The steak was tender, the sausage was flavorful, the fried pork belly was spot on!
